Women's rights: interesting facts

Today, no one denies the fact that from birth people are endowed with the same rights, that the legal status does not depend on the gender of the person. It is difficult for a modern person to understand how a couple of centuries ago young ladies were forbidden to study at universities, they were not appointed to senior positions, and in general, a housewife who washes her husbandโ€™s clothes and cooks was considered ideal.

Article 10 of the Declaration prescribes the abolition of those provisions of labor law that violate the rights of pregnant women. Equal access to educational programs is guaranteed. This document was the cause of subsequent international acts protecting the rights of women. Further, declarations on the legal status of the fair sex were adopted in 1974, 1993, 1995 and 2000.
