Short biography: early years
Not much is known about Timon’s meerkat childhood. As the facts say, his place of birth is a desert area.
He was the only child of his mother, who loved him very much and took care of him quite strongly. Perhaps that is why Timon grew up a little selfish and spoiled. The father of one of the main characters in the animated series was also mentioned, but he himself appeared in the frame only remotely.
Adult period
Timon lived in a meerkat colony with his mother and uncle Max. He was removed from excavation due to the collapse of a couple of tunnels through his fault.
Later, the mother convinced her son that everything that happened was an accident and offered a compromise in the form of a new “position” - the sentry. While serving, Timon is fond of performing his song and does not notice how a flock of hyenas attacks his colony.
After a double fiasco, he is assigned the status of an outcast and, wanting to live freely, not obeying any rules, he leaves the house in the hope of finding his true destiny.
After just a couple of hours, Timon begins to regret his decision, swallowing tears, however, having met Rafiki (Mandril's mentor), he goes off in search of the matata hackuna - a carefree life. The proposal of the monkey to look beyond the visible, Timon perceives literally and goes to the Rock of the Ancestors.
On his way, he meets a future comrade. Subsequently, the couple, Timon and Pumbaa, becomes a symbol of friendship forever and ever.
Communication
Initially, Timon’s meeting with his friend Pumba was tense. It seemed to the meerkat that the terrible warthog was thinking about what kind of animal this Timon was, and wanted to use a rodent for dinner.
However, after convincing speeches by Pumba, they decide to go together to the lands of the pride. Timon was able to remain completely safe due to the smell of Pumbaa, which removed all the smells, and the latter, in turn, was glad for the appearance of at least one creature that could come into contact with him, despite his odorous peculiarity.
After Timon collapsed hope of finding a new home and the meaning of life, Pumbaa turned his shoulder, and from that moment they decided to stay together forever. So two lonely souls acquired a brotherly relationship and family, though not blood, ties.
Friendship with Simba
The first meeting of the couple with Simba occurred at a time when the first two chased the vultures. Their acquaintance is one of the key events in the cartoon. What kind of animal is Timon, the lion cub understood immediately, but he did not refuse. The meerkat and warthog accept a new friend in the Hakuna Matata club. He grows up and becomes a real lion.
After several unsuccessful attempts to return the throne belonging to Simba by right, Timon lowers his hands and remains alone. So, we found out which animal Timon is a cute meerkat. We also understood something about his character. Therefore, it would be strange if Timon left friends in trouble. After a little thought, he decides to return. Meerkat finds Pumbaa. and together they go to the aid of Simba.

The full-length cartoon "The Lion King" is the thirty-second project of the W. Disney studio. The premiere took place in 1994. In the first episode, Timon is one of the main characters.
But in addition to full-length works, there is also a series in which not only the meerkat, but also the warthog Pumba is a full-fledged hero. This picture illuminates all aspects of the life of long-standing inveterate friends.
An interesting fact: in the television series we are talking about the name of Timon. She has Ukrainian roots and sounds like Berkovits.
