David Gwintoli was born on June 18, 1980 in the northern United States in Milwaukee. He spent his childhood in the independent American city of St. Louis. It has Italian, Polish and Austrian roots.
David graduated from high school in St. Louis. At 18, he entered Indiana University, located in Bloomington. The American received a degree in international business and finance only in 2004.
After graduation, Gwintoli returned to his hometown, where he began to take acting lessons from the head of the school theater club.
David's parents note that already in childhood he showed comedic talent - he was very good at making people laugh. Therefore, they supported his son when he decided to become an actor.
Carier start
For the first time on television, David Gwintoli appeared in 2003 in the reality show "Greedy Extremes ."
In 2007, the American decided to move to Los Angeles. Here he began taking acting lessons from Chris Field and later joined a theater group called the Echo Theater Company.
After some time, David played his first episodic role in the youth detective drama "Veronica Mars".

In an interview, David admits that he encountered some difficulties during the filming. He lacked physical fitness to organically look in the frame, so by the beginning of work on the second season he began to play sports intensely.
The actor ironically refers to the role of Nick Burkhard, noting that playing him is not at all difficult: "The main thing is to sit with a smart and gloomy look, and money is dripping."
While working on the series, the American managed to try his hand as a director.
Personal life
In June 2017, it became known that David Gwintoli and Bitsy Talloch got married. The romantic relationship between them began during the filming of the American series Grimm, where the actors played lovers.
David told reporters that until the end of the third season there was only friendly relations between him and Bitsy. The girl even tried to bring him to her acquaintances, helped to choose clothes for dates.
Life after Grimm
In recent years, the American actor was mainly busy filming the series Grimm. But managed to appear in several feature films: "Caroline and Jackie", "13 hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi", as well as in the television show "Key and Peel."
In 2016, the comedy film βSweet Coupleβ was released, for which Gvintoli acted as an executive producer and screenwriter, and also played one of the main roles.
