Biography and family
Peter Gorin was born on June 8, 1930, in Riga. The future actor studied at school number 22. Even then, he impressed others with his artistry, amazing charm. At school, Peter was a champion in high jump. At the same time, he did not miss any of the school performances, he played the main roles in almost all. Charming, smiling, modest ... He knew how to make friends, for which he was appreciated by classmates, and after years - and colleagues in the theater.
In 1952, Peter Gorin graduated from the State Theater Institute. Lunacharsky. For more than a year he played on the stage in Samara. In 1953 he returned to Riga and for eight years was a member of the troupe of the Riga Russian Drama Theater. In Latvia, Petr Gorin got married, the marriage was very successful. The couple raised two daughters. Gorin has five grandchildren left, the youngest of them is a double namesake of the actor (Petr Petrovich).
In Leningrad
In 1961, Peter Gorin with his family moved to the capital. His creative biography is complemented by one theatrical season in Sovremennik. But then his fate firmly connects with the city on the Neva. From 1962 to 1980, the actor conquers the hearts of the audience on the stage of the Leningrad Komsomol Theater. In 1967, a performance based on the story by A. P. Chekhov “On the High Road” was shot on local television. This is one of the few surviving videos on which you can appreciate the play of Peter Gorin on stage.
Theatrical work
One of the most memorable works of Peter Gorin in the theater is the role of Cyrano de Bergerac. Many viewers could not restrain their tears when he splashed on them all the pain of the famous hero. Shocked to the core and a duet with actress Tatyana Pileckaya, who played the role of Roxanne. When Gorin left the theater, the performance was removed from the repertoire. They tried to restore, but no one could “replay” Gorin in the role of Cyrano. The vivid image of the Rostov hero became an entrance ticket to the stage of the Leningrad Academic Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin. In 1984, the premiere of the film "Captain" Thracassus ". The picture is based on the eponymous work of Theophil Gauthier. The protagonist is the impoverished Baron de Sigonyak. Once in his house a troupe of stray artists stops. These young people are full of determination and self-confidence. Artists intend to conquer Paris. Among the lyceum there is also a girl - the beautiful Isabella, with whom the main character falls in love. The baron adjoins the troupe in order to always be with his lover. But once in the way of artists there are robbers. One of them was played by Peter Gorin. His partners on the set were Vladimir Menshikov, Leonid Yarmolnik.
The last work of Gorin (except for the episodic role in the film “ZETA Group”) was the role of the USSR ambassador in the film “The Big Game”. The events of the picture take place in Paris. The famous millionaire was killed. A Soviet writer and journalist is connected to the search for the customer, in whom compromising information appears on one of the "powers that be" during the investigation.
Gorin Petr Vladimirovich has been ill a lot in recent years and did not go on stage. There is information that shortly before his death, the actor was attacked by robbers. He received a head injury, and shortly afterwards, died on March 11, 2008. Gorin was buried in the Zelenogorsk cemetery.
