On the collective farm, many combine harvesters immediately begin to look after the new cook, which, in turn, is not pleasant to local girls. From the very first day, the leader of the female brigade, Galina, also disliked her. However, the young Pavlina was not from a timid dozen, she was quickly able to repulse all her boyfriends and enemies.
Nevertheless, soon her heart could melt true and pure love. A new combine operator came to work in the district - Stepan Kazanets, who was desperately in love with a lively girl. Once he decided to confess to Peacock his feelings, but suddenly received a strong blow from her on the head with a ladle. Then this scandalous love story scattered throughout the Kuban. The lovers had a huge number of envious people who caused them many different troubles. Nevertheless, young people were able to overcome obstacles in their path and save love.
