Nevertheless, in February 2009, the football player decided to break the contract with a team from the Moscow region. The reason for leaving was a more interesting offer from Lokomotiv from Astana. According to the midfielder, he was interested in the opportunity to play with his former teammate Andrei Tikhonov.
A few days later, the players agreed to move to Lokomotiv (Astana), and soon contracts were signed with them. By the summer, the club from Astana had serious financial difficulties. Football players were not paid salaries, as well as bonuses. “Locomotive” in that season managed to achieve significant success, winning silver in the championship of Kazakhstan. In the summer of 2010, information appeared that the leadership of Lokomotiv was in talks with Titov.
Playing for Khimki and Lokomotiv (Astana), Yegor Titov managed to play in less than thirty matches.
Retirement
