Plot

He is in command of a platoon of ordinary teenage boys who, at first glance, are absolutely not suitable for the role of soldiers. However, Payne is obsessed with the desire to make every true Rambo.
The boys are trying in every possible way to get rid of the new commander. He is trying to impress the charming Miss Walburn, instilling in himself humanity and telling the smallest pupil touching stories about the killed Viet Cong. Suddenly, the boys and the major are imbued with mutual sympathy. Payne helps them win the prestigious military competitions, and they help him become kinder and more sentimental. This unexpected ending is even fraught with something touching. He confirms that united efforts lead to victory, true friendship can overcome a lot, and love can make even an inveterate martinet better and discover new sides in it.

Most of all, the audience remembered the amusing Major Payne. Actor Damon Wayans, reincarnated as a warrior-monomaniac, brilliantly brought to life this image on the screen. His movements, facial expressions and intonations give out a born comedian who even coped with such an unusual role. The episodes were hilariously funny when Payne, in an impressive size hat, shouts to a platoon, dances in a club in the style of Michael Jackson or tells the baby Tiger cub frightening stories with a serene smile sparkling with gold crowns.
