Before reaching the island, Oliver met with Laurel. However, their relationship lasted exactly until the young billionaire betrayed the girl with her sister, Sarah. Queen decided to take Sarah with him on a cruise trip, where he went with his father. However, the ship was sabotaged, and only Oliver survived the crash. This event was an incredibly heavy burden for Laurel. The girl for a long time mourned the death of her sister, but at the same time could not forgive her for treason.
Five years have passed since the crash. Dina Laurel Lance has a relationship with Oliver's best friend, Tommy. In addition, the girl was educated and became a lawyer, however, spiritual wounds have not disappeared, which is why the girl continues to suffer. Oil is added to the fire by the sudden appearance of Oliver Queen, who survived and returned home from the island. Later, Laurel learns that behind the death of Sarah is Malcolm Merlin. The Black Canary attempts to kill the villain, but fails. Nevertheless, thanks to John Konstantin, the girl is partially cured and the lost memory is returned. However, Sarah cannot stay in Straling City. The girl leaves the city and joins a team called "Legends of Tomorrow."
Death
Over the past season, Laurel as part of the Green Arrow team has been actively battling Damien Dark. However, the villain learns the secret of the personality of the Black Canary and inflicts injury on it. The girl was taken to the hospital and tried to help, but the wound was fatal, and Laurel Lance died.
Future Canaries
CW has already announced the next, fifth season of its television show. However, almost nothing is known about him.
