The Constitution of the Russian Federation states that a person with his rights and freedom is the highest value, therefore, encroachment on them is an extremely dangerous act. Crimes against the person are provided for by the Criminal Code and are punishable by law, they are associated with an encroachment on the honor, freedom and dignity of a person, constitutional rights, as well as with a threat to life and sexual integrity.
The Criminal Code of the Russian Federation contains 53 articles that punish this type of act. In accordance with them, crimes against the person can be divided into the following types:
- Crimes against human life and health . This includes murder, suicide, torture, etc.
- Crimes against the honor and dignity of the individual, freedom. We are talking here, for example, about libel, insult, kidnapping.
- Crimes affecting the sexual integrity of the person.
- Crimes that violate the freedom and right of a person and citizen, as reflected in the Constitution: non-observance of equality, encroachment on housing, etc.
- Crimes against family values.
The first type is one of the most serious illegal acts, because as a result of these, harm is caused to health, in many cases leading to the death of a person.
Crimes against life can be committed both by action and through inaction. In the first case, there is a direct influence and an indirect one. It is easy to guess that with a direct culprit it affects the victim (a knife wound, a shot), and with an indirect culprit it directly does no harm, but maneuvers in the psyche, for example, with the help of threats, blackmail.
A person is obliged to do everything so that there is no harm to the health of another, especially, leading to death (here you can recall the negligence of doctors, the carelessness of drivers, etc.).
Sexual offenses are classified as acts committed. They are associated with distorted relationships between the sexes, with the forcible satisfaction of needs and lecherous actions towards minors and minors.
When considering crimes against the honor and dignity of a person, against freedom, it is necessary to mention each group separately. The latter include cases involving kidnapping, unauthorized deprivation of liberty, as well as illegal placement in a psychiatric clinic.
Against personality and freedom - slander and insult. The first involves the dissemination of untruthful information discrediting the reputation. When insulting, the honor and dignity of a person who is defiled in an indecent manner suffers. However, the degree of reliability of the information does not matter, unlike slander.
Crimes against the person include, as we have said, those that infringe on constitutional human rights. They are produced both through action and inaction.
The latter kind - against the family and minors - concerns the normal development of children and their upbringing. Attempts should be made to involve minor or minor family members in actions that do not correspond to the moral principles of society (use of drugs, alcohol, tobacco).
So, we figured out what constitute especially dangerous illegal acts, namely crimes against the person, described their main types (threats to life, freedom, honor, sexual integrity, family values, rights enshrined in the Constitution of the Russian Federation), examined each of them in more detail, and also got acquainted to some extent with the legislative framework on this issue.
