What categories exist

The main teacher competition
There are many competitions at different levels (from city to federal), in which teachers can show their talents and demonstrate to everyone that their new approaches to training work. But the most important thing for them is the Teacher of the Year contest.
It is carried out in three stages. At the first contestants must:
- post your methodological developments, which should be innovative;
- present their professional experience to colleagues at a methodological association;
- conduct a demonstrative training session;
- in improvisation mode to discuss with students an important issue for them;
- demonstrate interaction with parents.
At the next stage, teachers conduct a master class and take part in an open discussion on a socially significant problem. And at the final stage, the contestants participate in a "round table" together with famous people in education on a relevant topic. The Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation also takes part. The absolute winner of the competition receives the position of public adviser to the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, which he holds for a year. Therefore, it is an honor for a teacher to win the "Teacher of the Year" contest.
Thus, the activities of teachers are not limited to schools. What is a teacher? This is not just a teacher whose task is to tell material from a textbook. If he is a true professional and loves his specialty, he will be able to influence the education system in the country.
