Red dots on the skin? You may have an angioma

Red dots on the skin (also called red moles) can be angiomas. An angioma is a benign tumor that resembles a birthmark, but it is not based on the accumulation of pigment, as with birthmarks, but on lymph and blood vessels, which appear as small dots on the skin.

An angioma can have several types:

- An angioma simple or capillary often appears on the scalp and face in the form of rounded and small spots that have a crimson color. Small red dots on the skin may also appear. Angioma on the eyelids, cheeks, nose can grow in size, which looks very unattractive;

- Cavernous angioma is located in the subcutaneous tissue, but can grow in the bones and muscles. It can develop in the liver and other internal organs. This type of angioma is manifested by rounded protrusions or tubercles on the skin, soft to the touch. If you press with your finger, the angioma contracts, but appears again if the pressure is removed. If a cavernous angioma is located on the mucous membrane of the mouth, it can cause bleeding;

- Lymphangiomas are similar to small nodules or diffuse protrusions that are covered in skin and soft to the touch.

The reasons why angiomas appear on the body still baffle doctors. Some experts are inclined to believe that red dots on the skin appear under the influence of direct sunlight. Others blame everything on hormonal disorders. Red dots on the skin can appear at birth and grow with a person, but often occur in women after childbirth, and quickly pass after. As a rule, such moles do not pose any threat to life and health. Only it is worth worrying if the angioma has formed in a more mature age, as this can be a signal of other hidden diseases.

What to do if you have red dots on your skin? This aesthetic defect can be removed using a vascular laser. The laser beam is able to penetrate the skin and remove many aesthetic problems. Before the procedure, you can not be exposed to sunlight, since under their influence melanin is produced, and it can interfere with determining the boundaries of damage to blood vessels. The procedure is almost painless and time-consuming. After removal, a crust will remain, which will heal for about a week, after which it will be possible to enjoy clean skin.

Sometimes resort to x-ray treatment, cryogenic surgery, vascular coagulation. In parallel with these procedures, the doctor prescribes hormone therapy. Surgical intervention is used to remove a large area affected by deep and large angiomas, but this method leaves scars on the skin, so it is not quite suitable for those who have moles on their faces.

Angioma treatment is carried out by international means. Before treating small red spots on the skin in this way, check with your doctor. For the treatment of angiomas, wipe the affected areas with infusion of Kalanchoe. To prepare the infusion, take Kalanchoe leaves, which are thoroughly washed and finely chopped, and then poured with warm water. The remedy is infused for a week in a dark and cool place. Infusion periodically should shake.

Kombucha very effectively solves this problem. A piece of tea is cut from the fungus and applied to the affected area. The more often you apply Kombucha, the better and faster the treatment.

For another popular recipe for the treatment of angioma, you will need a tablespoon of copper sulfate per 100 ml of water. An angioma is wiped with this solution. After a week, they begin to make a compress of tea soda with onion gruel, which is ground on a grater. The compress should be left on the skin for as long as possible.
