This disease is part of the group of pervasive personality development disorders. These disorders are mental conditions in which a person is inhibited
the development of his basic skills, especially the inability to lead a social lifestyle, to communicate and use his own imagination.
Like autism, Asperger Syndrome can cause the patient to become self-contained and other similar mental conditions. However, these two disorders only look alike. Asperger syndrome does not have such obvious deviations as with autism: usually a person’s skills are more functional. In general, the level of intelligence of such patients is normal, speech is almost normal, however, by age, difficulties in communicating with people may be observed.
Symptoms of Asperger Syndrome
The clinical picture of this disorder is different, and different individuals have their own symptoms. The most common symptoms of Asperger Syndrome are:

Is it possible to get rid of Asperger syndrome?
Unfortunately, modern medicine is not able to completely cure this
disease. However, to date, many methods have been developed that help people cope with the symptoms of Asperger syndrome:
- Special education. It helps children gain the necessary minimum knowledge.
- Correction of behavior.
- To help children discover their own abilities, speech, physiological and occupational therapies are also provided.
- Social skills therapy teaches people with this disorder how to communicate with other people.
There is currently no drug treatment for Asperger Syndrome. However, medications help to cope with such specific manifestations of the aforementioned ailment as depression, fear and anxiety, hyperactivity, obsessive-compulsive disorder (obsessive thoughts or actions).
