February 25, 2010 in Moscow, died the Russian theater and film actor, Honored Artist of Russia Vladislav Galkin. The cause of death is still not fully understood. The actor’s father Boris Galkin shows confidence that his son was killed, motivating his assumption that a large amount of money was missing from the apartment. However, the investigating authorities did not find evidence of violent death.
Cardiomyopathy
39-year-old Vladislav Galkin, whose officially declared cause of death is doubtful for many, suffered from inflammation of the pancreas, he was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. However, this disease is not fatal, even if it proceeds in a chronic form. The death certificate says: "Died from cardiomyopathy", which means "sudden cardiac arrest."
Pathologists suggest that acute heart failure could result from alcohol poisoning, since a significant dose of alcohol, more than 3.2 ppm, was detected in the blood of the deceased actor. The version of death from alcohol overdose, against the background of a general weakness of the body, was considered first of all. Thus, Vladislav Galkin, whose cause of death for a long time bore signs of uncertainty, was declared dead from heart failure.
What friends said
Nevertheless, at the insistence of relatives, a corner case was opened to find out the true causes of the death of the actor. Close friends of Vladislav told the investigator about his unstable state of mind recently. However, depression, disappointment, loss of the meaning of life - all these factors could become a reason for suicide, but the fact of suicide has not been established. Thus, the actor Vladislav Galkin, whose cause of death is officially recorded in the relevant documents, died a natural, non-violent death. Honored Artist left a worthy legacy for posterity, this is his role in the movie.
First movie screening
Vladislav Galkin, whose biography is not diverse, was born and raised in the suburbs, the city of Zhukovsky. The actor’s father is Boris Galkin, a famous film actor, his mother is Elena Petrovna Demidova, an actress, film playwright and screenwriter.
The star family gave Vladislav a ticket to the cinema even when he was a boy. Grandmother, Lyudmila Nikolaevna Demidova, took her grandson to the screen test. The nine-year-old Vlad was liked by the director Stanislav Govorukhin, and he took the boy to the role of Huckleberry Finn in the film "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn."
Young talent
Then the teenager starred in the film "This Scoundrel Sidorov", in which he played the role of Alyosha Sidorov. That was in 1983. At the age of fifteen, Vladislav starred in yet another film, titled The Golden Chain, which was directed by director Alexander Muratov based on the novel by writer Green. The roles of Vladislav Galkin in the cinema during his youth were distinguished by the immediacy of a young talent, but the young actor created completely authentic images of the characters.
School of Theater Arts
After school, Vlad entered the School of Theater Arts named after Shchukin, and after graduation he submitted documents to VGIK. At the institute, the young Galkin studied on the course of Vladimir Khotinenko.
Vladislav Galkin, whose biography opened up new pages, matured early. With all his love for his parents, the young man sought to gain personal space. Soon he announced to his parents that he wanted more independence, he left home and began to live alone, although he met his mother and father almost daily, came to visit them and invited him to his place.
Having become a professional actor, Vlad began to act in films a lot, and also periodically took part in theatrical productions. He loved his work, and she answered the same thing - the actor Galkin soon gained fame, and they began to invite him to the main roles. The first truly serious work for him was the character of officer Tamantsev in the movie "In August 44th." The actor managed to penetrate the spirit of that time, the image he played turned out to be reliable and convincing.
Truckers
The next film work brought Vladislav Galkin widespread fame, it was the series "Truckers" in which he played a duet with film actor Vladimir Gostyukhin. Vladislav himself considers this series his finest hour. From the first shots, he organically got used to the image of the truck driver Alexander Korovin, whom everyone called Sashok.
20 episodes of "Truckers" are separate stories set in different genres. Among them are action films and thrillers, melodramatic plots and lyrical comedies. During the time that the shooting took place, Galkin Vladislav, the actor, reincarnated countless times. He even came up with a universal suit "for all occasions", to change clothes less on the set, it was a jumpsuit and panama. Vladislav's partner, actor Gostyukhin, changed clothes five times a day, changing jackets, shirts, shirts.
Other films
This was followed by another work - the role of the Yakut commando in the television series Special Forces, as well as the creation of the image of officer Vysik Sergey, who was appointed after being demobilized from the army as the head of the criminal investigation department of one of the Moscow Region’s branches, in the thriller film “Beyond the Wolves” .
In 2004, Vladislav Galkin starred in the film Vladimir Khotinenko "72 meters", playing the role of senior midshipman Mikhailov. In the same year, the shooting of the series "Truckers 2" began. This was a continuation of the adventures of Fedor and Sash, stretching over 12 episodes.
Director Bortko and actor Galkin
The following year, 2005, director Vladimir Bortko invited Vladislav Galkin to the role of poet Ivan Bezdomny in his film "The Master and Margarita" based on the novel of the same name by Mikhail Bulgakov. The character was not easy, a deeply psychological undertones accompanied the role throughout the whole picture. The image that Vladislav was to get used to, required full commitment, and most importantly, Ivan Bezdomny was the exact opposite of the trucker Korovin, so Galkin had to radically reorganize all the life priorities that he managed to develop during the production of “Truckers”. I must say that the actor brilliantly coped with the task.
Several films of the year
In 2008, Vladislav Galkin took part in the filming of three films at once: the TV series "I am flying", in which he played the main role, the head of student practice, surgeon Gordeev; in the series "Semenov's Team" - the role of police major Semenov Andrey; in the movie "Imperfect Woman", where Galkin was played by Valery, who has to make a choice between two women.
Vladislav Galkin, filmography
During his fairly short life, the talented artist managed to do a lot. And although he himself did not think that his work in the cinema was of any value, popular recognition indicates the opposite. Alcoholism in the life of Vladislav Galkin
In the acting environment, it is not customary to refuse to drink, often vodka or cognac increases the tone of the artist, he opens up, plays talentedly, deeply. Much depends on the amount of alcohol consumed, because it is difficult to resist.
In 2009, Vladislav Galkin starred in the film "Kotovsky". Filming took place in the city of Yaroslavl, and for the weekend Vlad tried to come to Moscow. Once, on the way from Yaroslavl, the actor went into a roadside bar, not far from Moscow. He asked for vodka, drank one, then a few more glasses. Perhaps he did not yet leave the role of Grigory Kotovsky, who played on the set. We can assume that the actor, like his character, believed that everything was permissible to him, and the recklessness of the national hero Kotovsky was somehow transferred to him. Galkin lost control of himself, demanded a drink more and more. And when the bartender made a remark to him and refused another shot of vodka, Vlad was indignant, took out a traumatic gun and started firing everywhere. The police called up tried to pacify the bully actor, but to no avail. In the end, Galkin insulted one of the law enforcement officers, hit him several times, and was arrested for this.
Conditional term
Vlad’s father Boris Galkin had to rescue his “bad-luck” son from prison. A criminal case was instituted on the fact of insubordination to the police, then a trial was held, and Vladislav Galkin received a year and a half. The verdict, however, was conditional, but the actor thanks to this story became even more popular. However, after all the turmoil, prison and trial, Vlad began to get sick. Chronic pancreatitis worsened, the disease continued until the very moment when Vladislav Galkin died. The actor died alone and lay on the floor in his apartment for several days until he was discovered.
The funeral of Vladislav Galkin
March 2, 2010, after the funeral service and farewell, a funeral was held. Vladislav Galkin is buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow, in the alley of actors. During the funeral, it first snowed, and later the sun came out.
Vladislav Galkin passed away. What did the actor die of? From vodka or from an illness, or from one or the other, or maybe there was another third reason. The heart stopped, and that says it all ...
