Studio Bones took up the film adaptation of the Noragami manga, in the Russian adaptation known as the anime "Homeless God." The series is decent and deserves to be watched, despite the fact that there is no full correspondence with the original. the cartoon comes with the tag sainen, it has a fairly serious theme and concept. This anime and catches from the very first series. Although the plot does not sparkle with originality, high-quality drawing, dynamism, a few spectacular battles, and a magnificent soundtrack do not leave anyone indifferent. In the cartoon "Homeless God", the characters are well thought out: each character is endowed with his own character, without the typical patterns of modern Japanese anime.
Plot description
In addition to the familiar world, there is another, in which ghosts, spirits and even gods live. Usually every more or less decent god has his own temple and believers who bring gifts and praise him. But what if you are God, but there is no temple or parishioners of your own? Fame and fame, of course, too. Who wants to follow such a dubious homeless creature that even cannot take care of itself? And what to do? Refuse the dream of falling into the pantheon of supreme deities or come up with something for your own good? The small unknown god Yato chose the second path and took into account the realities of modernity. Advertising is a great power: distributing flyers and graffiti on the walls help to get orders. The fee is purely symbolic - only 5 yen, but the quality is up to par. And it’s easy to get in touch with a wish-performer: just call the indicated mobile phone number. Yato is not picky and takes on different assignments from cleaning the room to protection from bullying classmates.
Once a homeless god throws himself under the wheels to save a kitten. The car does not hit a young man only by a miracle. The name of this miracle is Hieri. A high school student pushes him away at the very last moment, but she herself becomes a victim of an accident. And the consequences are more serious than ordinary injuries. Hieri is now partially ayakashi (spirit) and can be so formed that it will completely become a ghost. To get rid of the newfound gift, the girl naturally asks for Yato's help, for a fee. The homeless god willingly agrees, but is not in a hurry to fulfill the order: he has enough problems and enemies that Hieri can help deal with. Yes, and the kindly spiritual ghost of a boy who is selected in kindness constantly gets into trouble.
"Homeless God": characters and their characteristics
All anime characters, both main and secondary, are interesting and well thought out. First of all, the main characters are attracted, but ghosts are no less spectacular.
Yato
The name of the protagonist of the series is translated as "stopped the night." The real name given by the father is Hiro, also known as Yaboku.
Cute blue-eyed young man. He is one of the lower gods of war, but the majority assigned him the “glory” of the deity of misery and misfortune, however, this does not prevent him from trying to become one of the best. Yato is a homeless god. He does not have his own sanctuary, so he is little known among people and unpopular among colleagues. Constant walking in a tracksuit and rather rude behavior do not add trust to a strange deity. But the young man has grandiose plans for the future: to become the most revered and respected god and to have his own temple. For the sake of a dream, he is ready to work day and night. It turns out, however, badly. So bad that Mayu’s own shank found another owner, and the donations collected (read: heavy labor fees) are placed in an empty sake bottle. But the young man does not lose heart and continues to draw graffiti with his phone number and a proposal for help to the afflicted. Only the elect can see it - those who really need it.
After leaving the shinka, which faithfully served for many years, things went wrong with Yato. Without a weapon, the young man’s strength became much less, like that of an ordinary earth magician. And who needs such a useless deity? Except for one 15-year-old high school student. And that’s because there is no choice.
Hieri Iki
Life did not really spoil a 15-year-old high school student: constant bullying of classmates, misunderstanding of parents forbidding martial arts only because it does not fit a girl from a decent family. Once classmates brought the girl to the point that she locked herself in a toilet cubicle all in tears. It was there that she saw a strange advertisement on the wall promising help and getting rid of any problems.
Deciding that there was nothing to lose, the girl dialed the specified number. What was Ica’s amazement when she saw the “benefactor”, proudly calling herself a great god. Maybe the girl would refuse his help, but life decreed otherwise, and now this dubious god is her only hope for salvation. Realizing that Yato does not have enough strength, Hieri does not despair, but decides to help him. In addition, dexterity, strength and speed in its state the eggs play only on hand in confronting numerous dangers. The girl is not embarrassed by the need to find a new shack for Yato and earn money for the temple. What you won’t do in order to remain human.
Yukine
Homeless God drew attention to the boy during the execution of the next task. The young thief does not remember anything about his past, but is sincerely embittered at the outside world. He envies living teenagers who can do what is inaccessible to him. However, Yato was able to see the potential in him and offered to become his own shank - a weapon in the fight against ghosts. Yukina does not want to miss a chance, but the past does not easily let go. The boy continues to lie and steal, which hurts Yato, but he does not refuse him and offers to undergo a rite of purification.
Although Yukina undergoes the rite, she continues to be annoyed because she serves a little god who is not known to anyone.
In the battle, after pronouncing the “sekki” it turns into a silver katana.

Bisamon
The homeless god Yato killed all the shanks of the powerful goddess in the past. For which he deserved her hatred and gained a faithful and powerful enemy.
Bisamon (sometimes translated as Bishamon) is the goddess of power, wealth and prosperity, one of the most important in the pantheon. She looks like an 18 year old girl, but her real age is 3000 years old. Very caring when it comes to her shink. Strongly developed sense of justice. The goddess is friendly, unable to control her anger only when it comes to Yato. He considers him a real evil that must be destroyed.
Kazuma
A homeless god once complied with Kazuma's request, which earned Bisamon the hatred. As a result of the death of the elders, Kazuma became the main shredder. He analyzes the situation and coordinates the actions of his mistress. It takes the shape of a clove earring.
Kofuku
In the anime "Homeless God", the characters are very different, like people in life. Some are ready for anything for the sake of revenge, others are able to delve into events and adequately perceive what is happening. The goddess of poverty is not afraid to go against public opinion and openly sympathizes with Yato. She is ready for him for a lot, even to shelter Hieri and Yukine. Because of his gift, it is considered a dangerous adversary to deter good luck and destroy everything, while fighting. Even Bisamon is afraid of contacting her.
Daikoku
"Homeless God" is an anime where all deities have their own shanks. Daikoku is the only weapon of the goddess Kofuku. Loves her mistress, Hieri and Yukine even thought they were a married couple. Very suspicious. In combat transformation takes the form of a fan.
Nora
Shinki and sister Yato. Homeless God and Nora have a common father, but different mothers. From time to time he tries to return his brother to his father's house.
