Where is bucket elevator used?

In industrial production, there is a need to move bulk materials vertically up to a certain height. For these purposes, a bucket elevator was developed and created. This conveyor has become an indispensable node in the production process at many enterprises.

The elevator device

This industrial unit can be used to lift bulk materials and liquids. To transport the latter, a water wheel is used as a water mill. In its construction are mounted planes that fall into the water and under the force of the current rise up. Instead of the plates, ladles of the required sizes are installed for fluid intake.

The bucket elevator noriya is used in the industry for raising loose materials. The constituent elements of the elevator are:

  • shoe - the loading part of the mechanism, which serves for loading / unloading cargo;
  • belt elevator head;
  • driving mechanisms - directly the engine, auxiliary gear and transmission;
  • mounting pipes for elevators;
  • inspection section (inspection) - necessary to monitor the buckets and can be used as the main repair site;
  • elevator tape - the main element for moving goods;
  • hopper;
  • various control devices.

Principle of operation

The cargo required for transportation is placed in the bucket, which is in its lowest position. Due to the drive mechanisms, the belt with buckets placed on it begins to move. The load moves vertically upward, passing through the sections. The number and length of sections depends on the bucket elevator manufacturer.

Having reached the maximum upper mark, the tape continues its downward movement, and the bucket fixed on it turns over, unloading the material through a bell or pipe. The empty loading container is already moving down, ready to accept the next shipment.

According to technological characteristics, the height to which materials are transported should not exceed 60 m.

Scope of application

Bucket noria is used in those areas of industry where the movement of friable materials is necessary. These are mainly mill and flour mills, storage facilities for grain crops, feed and chemical industry.

Practicing manufacturers note a number of advantages in working with this unit. Cereals have become possible to transport over significant distances up with minimal effort and cost. In this case, the loose cargo is not crushed and does not receive undesirable damage. The plants are highly durable and have a long service life. The bucket elevator has compact dimensions, it is easy to install, universal in operation. For normal functioning, it does not require high energy consumption.

The unit can be used in enterprises where there is a need for transportation of oilcake. Its productivity involves the delivery of loose goods up to 500 tons in one hour. Due to the presence of closed bucket modifications, the operation of the installation can take place under any climatic conditions.

Noria grain

Bucket grain noria is used as equipment for transporting and lifting grain and other small dry cargoes in a vertical direction. It is mainly used in flour mills and feed mills. Loading takes place by picking cargo from a shoe bucket, delivering it to the top and unloading it in hoppers.

The material for the manufacture of grain elevators is both metal and polymer plastic. The latter material is more common. It is lightweight, does not damage the grain due to its elastic edges. Wet loose loads stick to it less.

There are grain elevators with the UN marking and a coefficient of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 175, 250 and 500. The figure indicates the unit's productivity, expressed in tons per hour. They also differ in the pitch of the buckets, their capacity, drum diameter and belt width. For example, the maximum elevator UN-500 has a capacity of up to 500 tons per hour, its bucket pitch is 180 mm, with a capacity of up to 8.1 dm, the drum diameter is 800 mm, in this model the buckets are arranged in two rows.

NORK modification NORK

These models have differences in tape width and performance. So, the elevator belt ladle NLK-100 is characterized by a belt width of 300 mm and a functional capacity of up to 100 tons per hour.

Aggregates of this series transport cereals and their processed products, oilseeds and other loose materials in an upright position. Representatives of these modifications are used outdoors and indoors. They have a self-supporting structural feature. They differ from their counterparts in the configuration, which includes an explosion arrestor, brake assemblies with an automatic mode of operation (they do not allow the tape to scroll back during an unplanned stop of the work process), monitoring speed relays, backup sensors, hatches for tape tension and some other components.

This modification also includes bucket elevator with 350 t / h capacity and models such as NLK-5, NLK-20, NLK-50, NLK-100 and NLK-175.

HB Series

In this series, there are three representatives of the elevator - HB-50, HB-100 and HB-175. Aggregates transport such crops as oilseeds, grains, legumes, ears, various other industrial crops and grain heaps. Noria is constructed of very high quality galvanized steel. It has a high safety class: fireproof and explosion proof.

The complete set includes speed and retaining sensors, mechanisms for controlling speed and protective functions, a braking device and an air purification system. There are additional installation options in the form of installation of stairs with fences and service sites.

The bucket elevators of the HB series differ in performance, height, weight, width, size and volume of buckets, their number per meter, as well as the speed of the elevator belt, energy consumption and the amount of air for filtration.

Tape elevators

There are tape norias and tape elevators self-supporting. The former transport granular materials in a vertical direction and also have buckets. The operation of the unit is provided by drums with drive and tensioning mechanisms. Buckets can pick up the product on their own or loose ingredients are forcibly loaded into them.

Belt elevators are marked N-3/10/20/50 and differ in such technical characteristics as performance at percentage humidity, the number of revolutions of the drive drum and its diameter, the size of the head and buckets, the width and speed of the belt.
