True, it was necessary to slightly correct the plot, since the main performer of the hero - Brian O'Conner - was no longer alive, but it was impossible to remove his name from the plot. Separately, it is worth noting that the film is literally filled with a sense of nostalgia and memories, despite the brutal plot. It’s all because the heroes, however, like the actors themselves, mourn for their comrade who passed away very early.
Fast and Furious 8: Release Date
The trailer for the film became available on the Web in early 2017. In March, the release date of the painting was determined: April 13. Looking through the trailer, everyone understands that the new Fast and the Furious is filmed in the old traditions: races, explosions, major financial frauds, betrayal and friendship. This time the shooting took place mainly in New York - this is exactly what Paul Walker wanted. Also, several scenes were shot in Cuba and in Iceland. It is worth noting that earlier on the largest island of the Caribbean, Hollywood directors never worked. As for Iceland, for this country the appearance of the heroes of the action movie has also become nonsense. The indigenous people of a calm northern country have never seen such a number of explosions and special effects.
"Fast and the Furious 8": the plot
The main characters are again scattered around the world, and at the same time, each of them lives his own life, quiet and quite civilian. One of them - Dominic Torretto - is forced to go to New York in order to catch the long-standing enemy Deckard Shaw at the request of the secret agent "Mr. Nobody." Also, Torretto will fulfill an intermediate mission in Cuba on the instructions of the government and have time to return to the race in the "Big Apple". Subsequently, it becomes clear who the main enemy of Dominic and his family is. This is a young, damn seductive and incredibly smart woman - Cypher. She doesn’t just put sticks in the wheels, but sets up the main character against his loved ones in order to crank out her next scam.
Main characters and performers
Having learned when “Fast and the Furious 8” comes out, the fans immediately began to discuss who will play the main roles in this film, as well as which characters will be new. The family, as before, is led by Dominic Torretto performed by Vin Diesel, and his sweetheart Letty Ortiz, played by Michelle Rodriguez. As directed by the director, Brian and Mia left the game, so Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster are not in the film. Actors from the fifth part continue to act: Elsa Pataki in the role of Elena and Dwayne Jones as the agent of Hobbs. Some heroes have been familiar to us almost from the very beginning of the project: Dom Omar, Togo Calderon and Tyrese Gibson as Roma Pierce. The new hero, “Mr. Nobody,” is performed by actor Kurt Russell, and the agent who appeared in Cuba is played by Scott Eastwood.
The antagonists of the 8th part of the film are the Deckard Shaw, whom we have known since the 7th Fast and the Furious, as well as a new heroine named Cypher. For this role, the directors invited the notorious Charlize Theron.
