Since ancient times, Tibet from all over the world has attracted mystics and scientists. Buddhism is believed to be the most peaceful religion in the world. Indeed, according to history, the followers of the Buddha - Tibetan monks - never imposed their faith on anyone, did not organize campaigns in the name of their religion. However, despite this, different nations follow the religion that was created on the basis of the Hindu Vedas by Prince Gautama.
The lifestyle of the inhabitants of Tibetan monasteries is measured and closed. Communication with the outside world is possible only with the arrival of a caravan of food. Every day, Tibetan monks begin and end with prayers, between which they perform work on the monastery’s territory, necessary for its existence, and also meditate.
In addition to prayers in the monastery, it is impossible to hear a single extra word. The main difference between the monks is an extraordinary isolation. You can talk with them for hours, however, only you will have to talk, and they will be patient listeners.
The Tibetan monks test their steadfastness with the silence of the interlocutor who has come, as they are sure: in order to achieve a higher understanding, one must have patience. The secrets of Tibet will be open only to those who come to perfect their knowledge and their soul. The five exercises of Tibetan monks, also called the “Eye of the Renaissance,” make it possible to achieve this patience and significantly improve your health, especially the joints. In addition, to perform these exercises for the forces of the most busy person, since five minutes a day will be enough.
Now we turn directly to the exercises, which we perform three times the first week, the second - five, and so increase to the 21st time. Also, we do not pause between exercises.
1. Starting position (IP) - we become straight, we spread our arms to the sides at shoulder level. We rotate them three times clockwise. It is important that the eyes are open. This is necessary in order not to crash, but in order not to fall, focus your attention on one point.
2. IP - we lay down on the floor, hands are located along the body, palms are pressed to the rug, and fingers are connected together. Now, pressing the chin tightly to the body, we raise our legs, which cannot be bent at the knees, as well as tearing the pelvis off the floor. Then we release the head and legs to the floor, relaxing all the muscles of the body. Repeat three times. Note that this exercise is not always obtained the first time, however, the hard training and a drop of patience that Tibetan monks are endowed with will help you with this.
3. IP - we kneel down, feet shoulder width apart, hips are vertical, palms are put under the ass and thus we emphasize. Then tilt your head forward and press the chin of the chest. Then we throw our head back, at the same time we rest our hands on our feet. We return to the starting position.
4. IP - we sit on the floor, we place our feet in front of us, our feet should be shoulder width apart, we press our chin to our chest, our back is straight, and we place our palms upside down on our sides. We exhale and throw our head back. Now we deeply inhale and raise the body to a horizontal position, forming a “bridge”, and at the same time we tighten the muscles very strongly for a couple of seconds. Then we relax, return to the PI and exhale. Please note that the exercise must be done on holding your breath.
5. The last exercise of Tibetan monks is familiar to those who practice yoga. IP - we rely on the palms and toes, which we have at shoulder width. Neither the knees nor the stomach should touch the floor. We take a deep breath and throw our head back and up. Then we raise the ass as high as possible and slowly lower the head, pressing the chin to the chest. Pay attention to the arms and legs should be straight all the time. We return to the starting position.
It is worth noting that when performing the exercises of Tibetan monks, it is necessary to monitor the correctness of one’s breathing all the time, since it is precisely this that plays the most important role in the whole process.
