Soviet and Russian playwright and theater director Mark Rozovsky called him a smart actor, a skilled actor and a gold actor. And all for the fact that Denis Yuchenkov perfectly understands the director’s task, does not discuss with him, on the contrary, he immediately fulfills his plan.
“Rehearsing with him is a pleasure,” adds the director of the Nikitsky Gate Theater. Theater is a living art, and you need to go there at least once a month, says D. Yuchenkov. The grateful spectator receives a charge from the actors, from the production and mutually gives it to the actors.
Why is popularity necessary?
Denis Yuchenkov is well known in the bohemian milieu (theater forums testify to this). They respond positively about it, and among the many comments there are a huge number of enthusiastic ones.
Without false modesty, the actor believes that it is important for any person in this profession to be recognized. Once Denis said that he came to Moscow for fame, and she found him. You cannot live by glory alone - it is harmful, but it helps, nourishes the actor. Just as there is no soldier who does not dream of becoming a general, there is no actor who does not want to receive the title of Honored Artist and the love of the public. So says and thinks Honored Artist of Russia Denis Yuchenkov.
“Main Road” - a television project with Denis Yuchenkov
The actor got to the infotainment program “Main Road” through the series “Avtonomka”, where he played the captain of a submarine (the main role), and then he was invited to the “Culinary Duel”. Having seen the impressive artist, the producers and directors of the project “Main Road” called him to the audition for transmission, and for almost ten years Yuchenkov has been his permanent host with actor Andrei Fedortsov.
You can only dream of a transmission about cars , says actor Denis Yuchenkov, because it’s a man’s business - roads and cars. Each time in the program, stories change, meetings with different people, different cars, situations, roads change. In the second test section, he, along with his partner, is experiencing automotive performance. He has to measure the turning radius, load of the luggage compartment, ride through the mud and so on.
From early childhood, the boy loved traffic and cherished the dream of his own transport, but for parents to buy a car was a luxury, not a means of transportation. Only at the age of nineteen did the young man succeed, while demonstrating all his acting talent, to “persuade” the older generation to buy a car.
Biography
Yuchenkov Denis Konstantinovich was born on November 30, 1971 in Ulyanovsk. Both father and mother of the actor, as well as his grandfather belong to the acting dynasty. Denis Konstantinovich himself is an actor in the third generation and is terribly proud of it. Being a father himself, the actor tries to be tolerant of children and does not try to put pressure on their choice, but admits that he would not mind if one of his children became an actor. His eldest son did not follow in the footsteps of his father (he is a student at MGIMO), and the youngest son of the actor only recently became a schoolboy, and it is too early to judge whether he will serve Melpomene or not.
From his school years, Denis Yuchenkov remembers how their school team competed with another school football team, and his friends recall how he already artisticly gave and scored goals against the opponent.
Forever in the memory of the regulars of the Ulyanovsk Theater (especially the older generation), the game of the People's Artist of Ukraine Gleb Yuchenkov (grandfather Denis) and the People's Artist of Russia - Konstantin Yuchenkov (father of the actor), who first played the role of Lenin in domestic cinema, crashed into the memory.
Ulyanovsk Drama Theater
Denis Yuchenkov himself, having graduated from the Yaroslavl Theater Institute, has served in the Ulyanovsk Theater for ten years, where his mother Zoya Samsonova, the people's artist of Russia, still plays. Then, in 1993, he and his young wife Natalia Dolgikh-Yuchenkova came to the Ulyanovsk Drama Theater, and the first joint production was the youth performance “The Black Arrow”.
In the local theater, he was lucky to play in such productions as “The Servant of Two Masters”, “Cliff”, “Thirst for the Stream”, “For Every Wise Man is Pretty Simplicity” and in other performances. In addition to his beautiful appearance, the actor has a naturally velvety voice, this quality has become an occasion for television people to use it in local commercials. They say that his voice in the theater still warns the public to turn off cell phones, not to shoot the play on a photo and video camera and wants a pleasant viewing.
Voice of Denis Yuchenkov
And in the capital, his soft baritone came in handy, which often commented on documentaries behind the scenes and some programs on Channel One and on Russia.
