The animated film about a good-natured cat, the most popular among children, was created in 1981 by the famous screenwriter Arkady Hayt and the director Anatoly Reznikov.
The Adventure of Leopold the Cat is not just one story, but eleven exciting and fun episodes. The storyline of the above work of Soviet animators is unusually simple. However, a very important thing is hidden behind it: each adventure of the cat Leopold is a separate instructive story for young children.
Of course, this animated film can be considered the kindest among those that were created in the post-Soviet space. And, of course, every child could retell any adventure of the cat Leopold without hesitation. What is this cartoon about? Naturally, it is about friendship.
Not one Leopold cat’s adventure can do without a reminder that everyone should live in peace and harmony with each other. Only in this way can individuals exist.
So, "The Adventures of Leopold the Cat." The cartoon looked just a myriad of young viewers. Which Soviet schoolchildren did not know the phrase: “Guys, let's live together”? Of course, she was known to everyone. Many people still admire the kindness that the above cartoon emits. In addition, it is surprising how colorful his main characters are artistically decorated. And here we must pay tribute to the Soviet animators, who tried to portray mice and a cat as brightly and realistically as possible. And what is the scoring of "The Adventures of Leopold the Cat"? Andrey Mironov, Gennady Khazanov, Alexander Kalyagin - their voices made this cartoon unforgettable, I want to watch it again and again.
And what is the storyline of the creative work of Arkady Haight? So, "The Adventures of Leopold the Cat." All series, as already emphasized, express one thought: "Friendship is the most important thing in the world."
Everyone knows that the cat always preys on mice that are afraid of him like fire. And, it would seem, this law of nature is unshakable. However, the authors of adventure stories about Leopold do not think so.
He lived in a provincial town in house No. 8/16, an ordinary intellectual cat who had never offended a fly in his life, on the contrary, he loved to repeat the same thing to everyone: “Guys, let's live in peace”. He was very peaceful and kind. But next to him lived harmful mice: White and Gray. They constantly built various machinations for Leopold, trying at all costs to annoy and mischief him. In particular, in one of the episodes, Leopold is prescribed the Ozverin medicine so that he can give a worthy rebuff to mice. He took the whole medicine and became evil and dangerous: he immediately wanted to punish his offenders. However, in the end it all ended happily: Leopold once again realized how good it is to be kind and helpful.
This cartoon, despite the fact that it was created in the Soviet era, has not lost its relevance today - it can and should be recommended for viewing to small children. And not only them, but also adults!
