Biography
Alexei Gabrilovich - the son of a Russian playwright and screenwriter Gabrilovich Yevgeny Iosifovich. Young Alexei decided to continue the work begun by his father and become a director. After school, he entered the Institute of Cinematography, where he studied acting. After graduating from the institute with good grades, Gabrilovich Jr. began work on the show "Blue Light". Personal life
The director’s first wife was Tatyana Bestaeva , a Soviet actress who starred in films and played in the theater. The marriage between them lasted three years. The second wife of Alexei - Bulgakova Maya Grigoryevna, the woman was also an actress. Alexey and Maya had a daughter, Maria, who became a lawyer. Almost nothing is known about the last, third wife of Alexei Gabrilovich Alena. Alena Gabrilovich gave birth to a film director daughter Nina and son Zhenya. It was with his third wife that the director lived until the end of his days.

Alexey was the creator of more than 30 documentaries. The following works became the most popular and significant for the director’s career: “Mannequin Factory” in 1966, “We Are the Young Guard” in 1969, and “Maoism” in 1978. Alexey Gabrilovich made a film consisting of four films about childhood: “Circus of our childhood”, “Football of our childhood”, “Cinema of our childhood”, “Yards of our childhood”. He acted as a screenwriter in the film "Late Dates." The director was awarded the State Prize of the RSFSR and declared a Honored Worker of the Russian Federation.
