Health-saving technologies in the educational process

Today, there is a lot of talk about the health of students, and this is no coincidence. There is a tendency to deterioration in the physical condition of children in comparison with their peers of previous generations. This is due to overloads, large amounts of information, frequent stresses and other factors. From 6 to 17 years, there is intensive growth and development of the child. At the same time, the body of children is very sensitive to the harmful effects of the environment. They spend a lot of time in educational institutions (school, circles, sections, etc.). Therefore, it is so important for teachers to pay attention to health-saving technologies that must be used in the educational process.

It should be determined exactly what factors of educational activity can have a negative impact on the health of students. This, for example, includes the mismatch of the methods used in training, age characteristics of children. In addition, there is currently an intensification of the educational process. This means that there is an increase in the volume of material against the background of a decrease in the actual number of hours allocated to a certain discipline. In this regard, it becomes more homework, material for self-study. This often leads to stress and overload, fatigue, overwork and, as a result, worsening of the physical condition of schoolchildren.

Health-saving technologies in education are designed to educate students in a culture of health, as well as personal qualities that contribute to its preservation and strengthening. Also, the goal of these techniques is to motivate children to lead the right lifestyle. These technologies include the creation of such conditions for teaching a child at school in which there are no (or minimized) stressful situations, as well as adequate ways of training and education.

Health-saving technologies contribute to the rational organization of the educational process in such a way that it meets the age, gender, individual characteristics of children, as well as hygiene requirements. It is very important to correctly organize the motor regime. It is necessary to systematically approach education and upbringing and, first of all, strive not to harm the child.

The concept of "health-saving technologies" refers to the qualitative characteristics of any educational methodology, which addresses the issue of maintaining the health (physical and mental) of teachers and students. There are several principles that they must comply with.

Firstly, it is the continuity, systematic work in this direction. It needs to be conducted daily. Secondly, and no less important, the complexity of the material and the volume of the load should be appropriate for the age of the students. Also, health-saving technologies in the lessons provide for the active inclusion of students in the learning process. This reduces the risk of signs of overwork. The approach to schoolchildren should be comprehensive, that is, there should be unity in the actions of the teacher, psychologist, and doctor.

It is important to remember the hygiene requirements for the organization of the educational process. This includes regular airing of cabinets, maintaining the desired temperature, proper lighting, and the absence of monotonous irritating sound stimuli. Types of educational activities are recommended to alternate. Health-saving technologies include physical exercises at each lesson. It is known that the most productive are the lessons that are on the schedule from the second to the fourth. This should be considered when planning classes. The teacher in "unproductive" time must use special techniques to attract attention to the teaching material.
