All fans of espionage detective stories, domestic and foreign, should definitely watch such a wonderful film as the Turkish Gambit, released in 2005. Actors are one of the main achievements of the picture, the plot of which is borrowed from the work of the same name by the writer Akunin. Briefly about the plot

The mysterious Anwar Effendi has a European appearance, speaks several languages ​​fluently. Everyone is under suspicion.
Actors of the film "Turkish Gambit": Beroev
Egor Beroev acts as a charming stutter of Erast Fandorin, well-known to all fans of Akunin's work. It is curious that for the first time he wanted to play this character not at all in the action movie Turkish Gambit. The actors who created this image in other adaptations of Akunin’s novels about Fandorin: Noskov, Menshikov. It was Ilya Noskov who beat Beroev at the casting of the film "Azazel", the first to play Erast Petrovich.
Interestingly, the author of the novel approved almost all the actors selected for leading roles. The only exception was Yegor Beroev, who absolutely did not look like a book character in appearance. Beroev with pleasure recalls the lengthy filming in Bulgaria. It turns out that he rejected the help of stuntmen, preferring to cope with all the tricks on his own. Varvara Suvorova is a key character around whom all the events of the Turkish Gambit film project unfold. Actors who turned out to be colleagues of Olga Krasko on the set, highly appreciate the talent of the young actress, who was then about 24 years old. The creators of the spy thriller consciously chose to take a red-haired girl, although in the original source, Varya was a blonde. They considered that the bright color would emphasize the adventurous character of the heroine, her love of adventure.
Before becoming a young lady Suvorova, Olga played only a few episodic roles. Nevertheless, she got a vivid image that even Akunin liked. Her heroine manages to do everything: make fans, help Fandorin in the investigation, avoid deadly traps and even fall in love. During the filming, Krasko had to master the art of riding and even fly in a balloon. Unfortunately, the completion of her love story may slightly disappoint the female half of the audience.

The detective genre implies the presence of antagonists who oppose good heroes. The Turkish Gambit was not an exception to this rule, the actors and roles of which continue to cause burning interest even 11 years after the release of the picture. When writing the script, the creators of the historical action movie decided to step back a little from the plot proposed by the writer Akunin. Viewers who have already read the novel will be surprised to learn that a completely different person has become the main villain.

Erast Fandorin, who agreed to the search for a Turkish saboteur, is taken for the investigation. As it proceeds, more and more suspects appear in it. One of them is captain Zurov, whose role Dmitry Pevtsov brilliantly managed . This person is an adjutant to General Sobolev and a longtime acquaintance of Erast Petrovich himself. Pevtsov perfectly succeeded in the image of a handsome handsome brater who cannot live without gambling and duels, and is also one of the most ardent admirers of Varvara Suvorova.
Captain Perepelkin, who miraculously survived during his stay in Turkish captivity and was released by the soldiers of Sobolev, is played by Alexander Lykov.
