A passport is an identity document containing information about our place of residence and place of birth, about our children and blood type, marital status and more. The state obliges to receive a document of this sample of each resident of the country who has reached the age of fourteen. In addition to the above marks, the passport contains information on
military duty, on previously issued copies proving your identity outside the country. In addition, at the request of the owner, marks on the blood group and TIN are affixed.
Passport does not apply to documents received once. In addition to the fact that a passport can be exchanged due to its severe deterioration or change of surname, the law spells out citizens' obligations to change the main document when they are 20 and 45 years old.
At the age of 14, it is necessary to hand over to the inspector a set of documents consisting of 2 photos and a receipt on payment of state duty. The citizenship stamp must appear on the birth certificate (on the back). In addition, you will need a document (passport) of the parent or guardian, a certificate of residence and, of course, a statement. In addition to this (this can also be), documents on marriage or its dissolution, birth certificates of children.
The procedure for exchanging a passport due to a
change in name or worn document is simple. You all also apply to the inspector of the Federal Migration Service with a written statement and receipt of payment for public services. Documents for
exchanging a passport are required the same as for obtaining, namely:
- passport;
- certificate of residence;
- birth certificates of children under the age of 14;
- two photos;
- military ID;
- certificate of registration of marriage or its dissolution.
The procedure for exchanging a passport at the age of 20 and 45 is no different from the previous version. The kit is the same, the rules are the same. The only nuance that must be observed is the timing. Passport exchange at the age of 45 or 20, as well as the receipt at 14, must be made no later than a month from the moment of this age.
By the way, in addition to the above documents, you have the right to provide documents for additional marks. Namely:
- certificate of registration with the tax authorities with the TIN number;
- certificate of blood type.
The procedure for exchanging a passport after it is lost or stolen takes a slightly different form. You will be required to write a statement with a consistent explanation of the reason for losing your passport in free form. In case of theft, you will need to provide a document on the fact of theft issued by the police department. Next, you will write a standard statement and provide four photos. Naturally, payment for the service will be necessary with the provision of a receipt to the inspector. Do not think that other documents for stamping will not be required from you, so make photocopies of them in advance (certificate of marriage or divorce, military ID, passport, etc.).
In the end, I would like to say that with a well-prepared package of documents you will not have difficulties with obtaining a new passport.
