Lovers of South Korean dramas are unlikely to lose sight of one of the interesting new products of 2015. The series pleasantly diluted the favorite themes of directors and screenwriters about a split personality, and the actors “Let's Dare” pleased us. Although at first glance the drama may seem “about nothing”: a children's theme, a school, but in reality everything turns out to be much more complicated, and the problems in the series are far from children's ones. But first things first.
Plot
Becoming your own in a new school is always difficult. Especially if you are initially different from other students. Kang Yong Du was “lucky”: she was transferred from a simple school to an elite one. What's the catch? The fact that in a new place, students are only concerned about their ratings and ratings, which they try to improve by any means. Young Doo is far from the title of "best student", as much as possible: she is among the first, but only from the end. But the girl is an excellent dancer and prefers to spend time behind what she really does, with a company of like-minded people and losers like herself. And everything went well until they took away a room for dancing.

The school encourages extracurricular activities, but also with a number of reservations: all the best is the best. Classes, time, concessions and promotions. The rehearsals of “True Kings” interfered with the activities of the “White Tigers”: loud music distracted the elite of the school from exercises and abstracts. Therefore, an objectionable group was simply deprived of the opportunity to rehearse. The director only dismissed all the requests and protests of the guys. That would be all over, but the unexpected happened. To improve the characteristics of the eternal “second on the list” Kwon Su And her mother came up with a brilliant plan: the participation of “White Tigers” in the regional competition of cheerleaders. And everything would be fine, but the trouble is that clever people don’t know how to dance. But in this good “True Kings”. The next step was the union of two opposing groups into one. And Kang Young Doo will have to confront now not only the charm of the leader of the White Tigers, Mu Yol, but also his sworn girlfriend Kwon Su A.
Add love triangles beloved by Koreans here, the eternal problem of fathers and children - and get a general idea of the plot of the drama “Let's go ahead!” The actors deserve special attention: a well-chosen composition, even despite the presence of mistakes, makes us believe in the reality of what is happening. And who are we talking about?
“Go ahead!”: Actors and roles
In the drama, not only the actors who played the main characters, but also the performers of the supporting roles attract attention. Their game deserves no less admiration. Teacher Yang, a fitness trainer, guys from both groups - you empathize with their stories no less than the main storylines. However, the main characters are the main ones in order to be in the spotlight.
Kang Yong Doo
If we say “Let's Be Dare!” Actors, then first of all the performer of the role of the main character comes to mind - Jong Eun Ji. The bright, talented girl became famous after filming in the drama “Answer in 1997”, then the equally bright series “That winter, when the wind blew” followed, and finally the role of Kang Yong Du.
The main character is a kind and cheerful girl who tries to see only the good in life and not lose heart, despite the difficulties. A little stupid, but purposeful Kang Yong Doo is the leader of the team of “Real Kings”, almost everything rests on it. Not surprisingly, thanks to her efforts, the White Tigers began training and began to show results.
Mu Yol
The tall, cool handsome man performed by Lee Won Geun came out to be surprisingly believable, which once again proves that the actors of “Let's Dare” are perfectly matched.
From hate to love is one step? The first student of the school Mu Yol was convinced of this personally. The noisy and ignorant Young Doo at first only annoyed and aroused bewilderment, but, having learned better, Mu Yol changes his mind to the opposite and begins to patronize the girl.
Kwon Su A
The role of the second main character went to the still little-known actress and model Chae Soo Bin. Despite little experience, the girl coped with her role superbly. Throughout the project “Let's go for it!” (drama) actors keep the viewer in suspense, without causing a desire to press the rewind. And a separate merit in this belongs to Chae Soo Bin.
Her Su A is bitchy and prudent, ready to go over the heads and trample even her only friend. And all for their own benefit and desire to receive praise from the mother. So it seems at first glance. But behind all this bitchiness and arrogance lies a confused and frightened girl who no longer knows what she really wants out of life and does not believe in people.
Ha jung
The role of a closed arrogant cold prince is played by Kim Ji Soo. Empathize with his hero even more than Mu Yolu. After all, he has everything, and only Young Doo only managed to melt the heart of Ha Jun. At first glance, Ha Zhong is a real snob, even worse than the main character. But only a few know that his isolation and distrust of people are connected with family history. Even wealthy families can be dysfunctional, and fathers can beat their sons due to the slightest oversight.
Whom the main character will choose - according to the law of Korean TV series, it’s already been known from the first series, but from this the film “Let's Dare!” (drama), actors and their characters do not get worse.
Minor roles
Not less attention should be given to the actors “Let's go for it!”, Who played the roles of the second plan. The charismatic teacher of mathematics, Ha Don Jae, who managed to overcome his illness and perform with the rest of the guys at regional competitions, a bright coach, who chose the only right way to unite the team, an insidious director ... Each of these characters makes the series deeper and more vital.
Summing up, we can say that, despite the low ratings in Korea, the series is quite worthy and deserving of viewing. So the actors of “Let's Dare” coped with their task perfectly.
