Club history

The youth hockey league was created eight years ago, and then the team of the Novokuznetsk “Metallurgist-2” was reorganized into the “Kuznetsk Bears”. We can say that this team has become the main supplier of young personnel to the Novokuznetsk Forge.

And if you take the very first season, the team played in the league final and lost. In subsequent seasons, she could not already rise so high at this stage. Nevertheless, the team always imposed a fierce struggle on the opponent to enter the next stage of the competition. Often the result of a given season depended on how things were going in the affiliate or related club, that is, in the Novokuznetsk Magnitogorsk. If the older brother’s affairs were not very good and there were many injured, then the club could call several leading players, thereby weakening the youth team.
