At the end of November 1938, a daughter was born to the Soviet actress Maria Fonina, the girl was named Natasha. It is clear that her childhood was common for children of actors. Mom could rarely be found at home - constant rehearsals, tours, filming. The girl was a lover of fooling around and quickly became friends with the local punks. Together with the children, she gladly raided other people's gardens and gardens. Natasha, although today it is hard to believe, was a very thin girl. And if Raya’s grandmother from Tbilisi hadn’t come to visit them, who knows how the future actress would have developed a biography. Natalya Krachkovskaya, and it’s about her, she loved to eat tasty food as a child, but since her mother was constantly busy, there was no one to follow her daughter’s nutrition. But the grandmother who arrived immediately set out to feed her skinny granddaughter. And she did it, the food was good, and Natasha began to quickly gain weight. And soon she turned into a charming little girl, but Natalya Krachkovskaya never complexed about this. The biography of the actress would otherwise be completely different.
Natasha was always very confident in herself, and thanks to this, a swarm of boyfriends constantly curled around her. One of them called her "one hundred kilograms of a dream." And it is quite natural that she was waiting for her acting biography. Natalya Krachkovskaya never dreamed of any other profession. After graduating from school, she submitted documents to VGIK, but just in case, and to the historical-archival institute. At VGIK, there were almost 300 people in the competition, only Natalya was not one of those who gave in to difficulties. She made a straight part on her head and recited the monologue of Ivan the Fool. Professor Vladimir Belokurov, who was gaining in his workshop, immediately noted: "This" little fool "must be taken."
Unfortunately, Natasha did not have to study at VGIK. She was hit by a car and had serious vision problems. I had to spend a long time in the hospital, and then my grandmother Praskovya Yakovlevna was engaged in her recovery. It is good that the vision was restored, but the girl was forced to go to work as a laboratory assistant at one of the metallurgy institutes. And if she left her dreams of cinema, who knows how her further biography would have developed. Natalya Krachkovskaya began acting in extras at Mosfilm, then they began to give her cameo roles. And in 1961 she got her first noticeable work, she played Verunka in the film “The Battle on the Way”.
In 1962, Natasha participated in the filming of "High Water". It happened in Tarusa, it was there that she met her future husband. Sound engineer Vladimir Krachkovsky began to take special care of the girl, for example, instead of a bouquet of roses, he brought her a tray of breakfast with cottage cheese and delicious buns. And he turned out to be right, it was male care that the future actress Natalya Krachkovskaya was conquered.
The turning point was her acquaintance with the famous Leonid Gaidai. He was looking for an actress for the role of Madame Gritsatsueva. There were two contenders: Nonna Mordyukova and Galina Volchek.
But then Vladimir Krachkovsky brought his wife to the shooting, and Leonid Iovich immediately exclaimed: “Here she is, the poet’s dream!” From that moment, her acting biography changed dramatically. Natalya Krachkovskaya became one of Gaidai's favorite actresses and starred in many of his paintings. She became recognizable and beloved by the audience.
Natalya Leonidovna lived in perfect harmony with her husband for 26 years (unfortunately, he died in 1988). Since then, she lives alone. She has a son, Vasily Krachkovsky, who, like his father, works as a sound engineer at Mosfilm. And the actress today plays in the movie theater and from time to time acts in films. Among her latest works are roles in the comedy “The Elevator Departs On Schedule” and in the series “Resort Romance”.
