Over the course of eighteen seasons, he travels the world with the goal of becoming the best trainer of pocket monsters. Ash Pokémon are his faithful allies and help to win the coveted badges and defeat rivals. During all this time, he met more than a hundred different creatures, and managed to tame many of them. It is difficult not to envy his collections, but in order to collect it, I had to overcome many obstacles. Someone has remained with him until now, someone has had to be released, and most are in the care of the permanent professor Oak. However, each of them is in his own way dear to the owner and with confidence can be considered his friend.

Once upon a time, an avalanche of adventures related to pocket monsters and their trainers fell upon the audience, after which everyone had a burning desire to tame their own Pokemon. The animated series aired from 1997 to the present, and its universe continues to expand. The first series begins with the fact that we are shown the next morning of the protagonist, which should become the most important in his life. He was 10 years old, which means that from that moment on he will have the first Pokemon. Asha, however, is waiting for an unpleasant surprise upon arrival at Professor Oak. It turned out that he was late for distribution, and all creatures have already been dismantled. But the resourceful professor had some more left. As a result, Ash gets the most indomitable pokemon in the laboratory - lightning fast Pikachu.
Friendship story
Between Pikachu and his master, hostility immediately arose. She proceeded for the most part from an embittered creature who did not want to be inside her pokeball. Accordingly, he ignored the rest of the orders. Ash pokemon attracted from an early age, and all his life he dreamed of becoming a coach, but this small one behaved so aggressively that the reality seemed to the boy completely different from what he expected.
However, unexpectedly, they were attacked by bidrills, who severely injured Pikachu, after which Ash blocked him from another danger. In gratitude for this act, the Pokemon used one of its most powerful attacks, which saved the lives of both. From that moment on, their relationship grew stronger every day, and Pikachu became the closest friend of the young owner.
First pokemon
On his long journey, the main character managed to collect a lot of Pokemon, but at the very beginning there were not so many of them. The first after Pikachu was Caterpi, who looked like a caterpillar with very short sucker legs, which quite quickly reached the last stage of Butterfrey's evolution, after which Ash released him into the wild. Then he managed to catch Pigeotto, who, after his transformation into Piggi, was also released. The most memorable three, which replenished Ash Ketchum's Pokémon, were Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbazavr.
At one time, they were very fond of the public. Also, the collection of the boy totals as many as 30 Toros, bull-like creatures that are particularly powerful. In total, in the animated series, the hero collected about 50 pocket monsters. Some of them have evolved into more advanced forms, someone had to say goodbye, someone always remains with the trainer, and someone is given for storage or training. Many of them are not considered the strongest in the world, but they are always laid out at full strength for Ash.

Naturally, without Pikachu, the main character will not travel, so he closes the team. They all have excellent characteristics and are truly powerful and capable.
Relationship with Pokemon
Pokémon is Ash's love from early childhood, so his dream has always been to become an outstanding master. He is distinguished from other trainers by a special approach. Before taming a creature, he must establish contact with him. After that, they become real and faithful friends, not pets and slaves. However, the hero also had difficulties in communicating with his Pokemon. Charmander instantly became a loyal companion to the owner, but he quickly evolved into Charmilion. This led to the fact that their relationship deteriorated sharply, as the fire monster ceased to comply with the orders of the owner. But the worst of the troubles was his next stage of development - Charizard. He not only refused to listen to the coach, but also defiantly committed evil deeds. And during the final battle on the Indigo Plateau, he completely fell asleep in the middle of the competition, which is why Ash lost. However, later the boy still managed to find an approach to Charizard, and since then their relationship has strengthened.
Does the trainer have any favorites?
It is impossible to answer the question who is Ashe's favorite Pokemon. Most believe that this is Pikachu, since he remains with the owner all the time. However, this is rather due to the fact that he was the first in his collection, and since then they have been inextricably linked. This does not mean that the hero loves his other charges less. The main goal for him was to take care of each of them, he would never do anything to their detriment. Ash is ready to do anything for the sake of his pocket monsters, so we can say that they all became his favorites.
