In the Soviet film “Zigzag of Fortune”, the actors demonstrate a typical situation, which often happens among ordinary people: as soon as money appears somewhere, an unthinkable and sometimes cruel divide begins. Where did the big sum fall on the head of the protagonist? And what trials will he have to go through to get it?
Filmmakers and Short Story
The film “Zigzag of Fortune” was directed by the legendary Soviet director Eldar Ryazanov. He wrote the script for the comedy in collaboration with Emil Braginsky in 1967. By this time, the master already had such works as “The Hussar Ballad”, “Carnival Night”, “The Girl Without an Address” and “The Complaint Book”. A worthy ribbon can be called "Zigzag of luck."
Actors in the project selected the first magnitude. The narrative is conducted in a mildly humorous form with elements of satire, which is very inherent in the early ribbons of Ryazanov. The whole conflict of the plot is that the employees of the studio "Sovremennik" want to share money that does not belong to them. Colleagues Volodya Oreshkina cling to the fact that the protagonist bought a winning bond for money from the general box office (which, incidentally, he simply lent). They use this argument to force Oreshkin to give them a win.
But since the picture was Soviet, the director had to make the finale childishly naive: everyone repented of their deed, and money still returned to their true owner, albeit in a reduced amount.
The film "Zigzag of Fortune": actors and roles. Evgeny Leonov as a photographer Oreshnikov
Photographer Vladimir Oreshkin works in a photo studio, meets a beautiful girl, Olya, and dreams of turning into a real photographer. But so far, Volodya does not have everything financially, so he often takes money at the mutual assistance fund. Once Oreshkin buys a loan bond with this money, and this is where all this mess begins, on which the plot of the painting “Zigzag of Fortune” is built.

The actors of the film are well known to any viewer. You can’t confuse Yevgeny Leonov with anyone: everyone remembers his brilliant “Associate Professor” from “Gentlemen of Fortune”. However, the artist was noted in Soviet cinema not only this role. In the 61st, he played the "lime" tamer in the Striped Flight. In 64, he embodied on the screens the image of Jacob Shibalok in the drama "Don Tale". And in the 67th, everyone saw Leonov in the image of the cowardly king Eric XXIX from the fairy tale “The Snow Queen”. The artist also returned to the image of a weak-character monarch in 78, when he starred in Mark Zakharov’s tape “An Ordinary Miracle”.
Zigzag of Fortune: actors and roles. Valentina Telichkina as Olya
The role of the cashier in the savings bank and just the beauty was played by actress Valentina Telichkina. For Telichkina, this was the very beginning of her career. In the 65th, she played in the film "Taiga Landing", then there were the films "Journalist", "Autumn Weddings" and "An Extraordinary Exhibition." Then the artist got on the set of the comedy “Zigzag of Fortune”.
Actors Telichkina and Leonov played the bride and groom. In the middle of the film, the couple had an argument over the win of Volodya Oreshkin. And the main character seems to have started an affair with another woman. However, in the finals, the couple reunites again.
Valentina Telichkina starred a lot in the Soviet period. She played Valya in the drama of Gleb Panfilov's “Beginning”, Masha Shamraeva in “The Seagull” and Elena Muravyev in the film “Because I Love”. But the most spectacular role in the performance of the actress can be considered the bride living in double life, Volodya Zavitushkina from the movie "It Can’t Be."
Telichkin can also be seen in the paintings "Quadrille", "Moneychangers", "Brigade" and "Yesenin".
Irina Skobtseva as Lidia Sergeevna
The film "Zigzag of Fortune", the actors and the roles of which cannot but remain in the memory of the viewer, was included in the filmography of the first beauty of the USSR - Irina Skobtseva. Skobtseva was distinguished by outstanding external data and charisma. She managed to attract the attention of such a venerable director as Sergei Bondarchuk, with whom the actress created a family.
In terms of a career, Irina everything turned out quite modestly. She served in the theater studio of a film actor, made her film debut in 1955 in the film "Othello" by Sergey Yutkevich. In the 63rd actress appeared in the film "I walk in Moscow." Skobtseva looked incredibly spectacular in the image of Helen Bezukhova in the film "War and Peace", which was set by her own husband.
In the 70s, Skobtseva continued to act, but these paintings can hardly be called famous. Only in the 83rd Irina managed to participate in the popular fairy tale "Mary Poppins, goodbye", where the actress played a lover of dogs. In the 92nd, Skobtseva played in the films “Demons” and “Quiet Don”.
