At college, Norman Osborne studied chemical and electrical engineering disciplines.
Vowed as a child that he would achieve more than his father, whom he despised because he drank a lot and humiliated their mother, Norman studied hard and eventually founded his own company called Oscorp.
Once, Norman Osborne stumbled upon a formula that could significantly improve the physical parameters of a person, primarily his strength. The substance affected Norman himself, he became stronger physically, and his mental abilities grew significantly. However, a side effect of the serum was Osbourne's insanity, because of which he eventually becomes the supervillain of the universe, known as the Green Goblin.

Following him, he learns that Peter Parker, a classmate of his son Harry, is the famous superhero.
All attempts to defeat Spider-Man by abducting his loved ones resulted in the loss of the memory of the Green Goblin, which constantly returned to him. However, he did not manage to come out the winner in the confrontation with Peter Parker.
