Her partner, as an older and more experienced, had to keep an eye on her and convince her of everything to obey the instructions of the Guardians. However, unexpectedly young people fell in love with each other, and this feeling confused all the cards of the Lodge.

This man sought to achieve his own immortality and nothing more. At the same time, Gwendolyn was the main obstacle in his path.
Cleverly using her love for Gideon, Saint-Germain tried to get his way. But working together, young people manage not only to destroy the villain’s plans, but also to gain immortality themselves.
In the trilogy in the finale, good also wins in the person of time travelers in love. However, in it, Gwen deliberately renounces immortality in order to stay with Gideon. In addition, new plot moves have been added to the films.
For example, in the book, the relationship between Gwen and Gideon did not go beyond kisses. However, in the film they even had sex.
Also in the 3rd part, Charlotte absolutely changed her character and betrayed the Lodge in favor of her cousin.
However, the most unexpected invention of the creators of the script was that the butler in the house of Montrose turned out to be the son of Gwendolyn.
It is worth noting that thanks to these adjustments, on the one hand, the trilogy became more dynamic and interesting, but on the other, many interesting storylines were lost.
