Biography
William was born in the small village of Kojimar (Cuba). His maternal grandfather was Jewish, but William himself grew non-religious. In total, the family had three children, who were raised alone by mother Barbara. As a teenager, Levy moved to Florida, where he attended high school. After her graduation, he entered St. Thomas University - a private Catholic educational institution in Miami, where he studied business management, played in the university baseball team.
After two years of training, William realized that he was not interested in the chosen specialty, left the university and moved to Los Angeles to study acting, then moved to Mexico City, where he worked as a model for several years at Next Models agency.
First roles
William first appeared on the screen in the Spanish-language series “I Will Never Forget You,” then he played a small role in the television series “My Life is You.” In 2009, William Levy received his first major role. He played Alejandro in the popular Mexican TV series Charm. His partner in the frame was Jacqueline Bracamontes - the star of Mexican television.
