Its history began back in 1941, when a significant part of ZiS production capacities began to be evacuated from Moscow (in connection with the approaching front) to Ulyanovsk. The plant had quite good production capacities, and could safely produce up to 30 ZiS-5 trucks per day. In 1943, the production of the Ul-ZIS-253 diesel truck was established, in 1947 - GAZ-AA, and in the mid-50s, when its own design division was created, the production of GAZ-69 and GAZ-69A became possible. These are the true legends of the domestic auto industry, which are still produced in the form of miniature model cars. The Russian brand has been constantly developing and repeatedly modifying the UAZ and GAZ-69 so that they meet modern consumer requirements. One cannot but recall the legendary Jaguar, a floating military vehicle.

Since the end of the 1990s, when the plant almost completely came to its senses after the crisis, it was radically rebuilt, and also when the country's internal state due to political and economic changes was fully stabilized, UAZ continued to modify previously created models. DERWAYS
