Childhood and youth
Henry is the youngest child of a Mexican family who migrated to the United States in search of a better life. He was born in California, but the family will repeatedly move around the states in search of a suitable residence.
His mother worked in several places to feed her family. Whereas the father, having problems with the law, did not take part in raising children and did not bring any income. It so happened that from an early age, financial problems and the lack of parental attention serve as a powerful motivation for the establishment of a safe future life for Sehudo.
Henry diligently studies, but still, under the influence of his older brother Angel, he begins attending the first lessons of the free-style wrestling section at school. Fight
At a very early age, Henry wins the 2006 Pan American Games, but only the second most important medal at the World Junior Championships. He won the championship in the next two years at competitions in America. In 2007, Henry Sehudo boasts bronze at the World Cup.
Triumph came at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Henry performed in the lightest weight category in Beijing - up to 55 kg. He defeated everyone and became a champion. After the success of 2008, the wrestler had several more successful appearances in other tournaments. After an unsuccessful qualifying round for the Olympic Games in 2012, he decided to end his career in freestyle wrestling.
MMA Career and Championship
