The future actress, whose real name is Rosa Maria Almiral Martinez, was born on June 25, 1954 in Spain, the city of Barcelona.

The career of Lina Romei, also known by such pseudonyms as Rosa Almiral, Lulu Laverne, Gene Collins, Candy Coster and others, began in 1973. It was then that the girl played her first role in the movie. Countess Irina Karlshtein from the movie “The Vampire” became this character.

Two years later, Lina Romei took part in the filming of "Dolls behind the Barbed Wire", in which she played the role of Maria de Guerra.

In the year of the premiere of Jack the Ripper, another film was released with the name of the actress in the credits - "Portrait of Doriana Gray."
