How should labor safety at school be organized?

Labor protection at school, like any other institution, must be organized without fail. The responsibility is primarily the responsibility of the administration. In addition to her work in this direction is carried out by a specially trained employee, labor protection engineer. It provides for the establishment of safety commissions and their management in several blocks.

First, local acts need to be developed . This includes orders, regulations governing labor protection at school, and instructions on this topic for almost all employees.

Further, it is necessary to conduct training, including initial and subsequent briefings, passing exams on this topic and issuing certain certificates. Responsible for how labor protection is carried out at school, certifies workplaces, provides fire and electrical safety, safe working conditions and carries out injury prevention.

In order for an engineer (specialist) in this area of work to involve as many people as possible and thereby not only facilitate his task, but also increase the efficiency of his activities, in addition to this, it is necessary to develop and approve documents that would be consistent with state regulations. Among them, it is advised to make a draft order (which will subsequently be agreed with the administration of the educational institution) on the distribution of responsibilities, on the appointment of responsible persons. Also, the Regulations on labor protection and authorized persons involved in this are being developed. Among other things, a work plan is drawn up that defines the annual activities of the specialist.

In the commission, in most cases, except for the person holding the position of engineer, they introduce a deputy. directors, honey workers, union members. Their activities are regulated by legal and legislative acts of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation, a collective agreement, and local acts of an educational institution. Members of the commission undergo periodic training in specialized courses on a specific topic.

Any instruction on labor protection at school should meet the recommendations for the design of this documentation. They are developed for each member of the team, from laboratory assistants to teachers and administration, and correspond to the specifics of the position. Employees familiarize themselves with this document for signature.

The members of the commission, which controls labor protection, have the right to receive information from the director about what work is being done to improve working conditions, the harmfulness of production, and the funding allocated for these purposes. In addition, they can participate in the coordination of issues and the development of regulations falling within their competence. For violations of the rules, regulations and instructions by which labor protection is carried out, it is possible to bring an employee to disciplinary liability. This issue is submitted at the general meeting or is discussed personally with the leader.

In addition, for active participation in events and measures aimed at improving safe and healthy working conditions, incentive measures can be developed and agreed with the administration.

Thus, work whose task is to protect labor at school should be carried out, first of all, with preventive purposes. This will help to avoid injuries in the workplace and reduce the number of occupational diseases associated with harmful working conditions. If necessary, workers are provided with professional footwear, clothing, and protective equipment (this is especially true for laboratory assistants in chemistry rooms, technical employees, etc.). At the same time, sanitary standards and working conditions must be observed.
