These juicy fruits have been loved by many of us since childhood, and it seems that we know everything about them. But for some reason, when a teacher in a Russian language lesson at school asks to make a sentence with the word "apple", nothing original comes to mind. What can be said about these fruits, besides the fact that they are delicious?
Simple sentence with subject and predicate
To begin with, let's try to come up with a phrase where the word we need will act as the subject, that is, the sentence should answer the question: what does (or what did) the apple do? Although this fruit is an inanimate object, it is still capable of certain โactionsโ under the influence of natural processes and influences from humans or animals. So what can an apple do or make? It can lie or hang, and also grow, ripen, fall, roll, etc.
To the sentence with the word "apple" was expanded, we select the epithets that characterize this fruit:
- big or small;
- sweet or sour;
- ripe or green;
- fragrant, fragrant, honey.
Also, these fruits vary in color, can be of different varieties, have a different shape.
So, let's try to make the first sentence with the word "apple" in the nominative case, using the verbs and adjectives found. โOn the table was a large ripe appleโ or โA red apple fell from a branch and rolled into the grass.โ

Nouns in sentences can act as additions if they have any other case except nominative. The simplest example: "Mom washed the frame." Here, the action performed by a person is directed at some object. In this case: who? - mom (subject); What did mom do? - soap (predicate); soap what? - frame (addition).
Let's make a more complete and detailed sentence with the word "apple", which, as in the above example, will stand in the accusative case. โThe big black ants immediately clung to the apple that fell from the treeโ or โI cut the apple into two parts, I ate one half myself and gave the other to my younger sister.โ
We change the form of the word and make new sentences
There can be infinitely many variants of sentences with this and any other word if you decline it in cases. The noun "apple" belongs to the middle family, has a singular and plural.
How to change this word by cases, according to the rules of the Russian language, is shown in the figure.
Now we can make such a sentence with the word "apple": "Last year, we had a large harvest of apples at our dacha." The following options also look good: "Grandma baked a delicious pie with apples," "I wanted to eat, and I decided to eat an apple."
