Childhood
The future screenwriter and director was born on January 8, 1953 in the city of Tula. After graduating from a local high school, she moved to the capital to enter Moscow State University. After graduating from the faculty, the journalist began working in the editorial office of Komsomolets Turkmenistan, where the girl was sent by distribution from the institute.
After finishing work, she returned to the capital, but for a long time she could not find work in her specialty. As a result, after short trips to various authorities in search of work, she entered the VKSR, which she graduated without any problems and became a playwright. At the age of 53, she received the position of artistic director in the famous Amedia campaign.
Personal life
With her husband, Zoya met in her youth, at Moscow State University. After the wedding, the girl took the name of her husband. At 21, the couple had a daughter who did not follow in the footsteps of her parents and works in a completely different field. Three years later, a son appeared who is today a director.
Filmography
As a director, Zoya Kudrya took part in the creation of 31 paintings. The first project called “Homo novus” was received in 1990. The most memorable works were “Sherlock Holmes”, “Admiral” and “Liquidation”. Most of the career fell on the television series, which are quite famous.
