Plot
The melodrama Southern Nights, the actors and roles of which were selected to each other under the vigilant control of producer Kirill Balmin, has a secondary plot, there is nothing revolutionary and innovative in it. The main character - the successful chief analyst of a large company, Yulia Kovalevskaya goes on a business trip. Her company plans to build a hotel on the picturesque Black Sea coast, but part of the site belongs to the incredibly stubborn owner Viktor Lapin, who does not want to sell his land allotment in any way.
The meeting of the main characters takes place in a tense atmosphere, the man behaves frankly rudely, Julia has to endure his antics. Gradually, the characters begin to communicate, and then feel sympathy for each other, growing into real strong feelings. Kovalevskaya is literally torn between the surging passion and professional duty, all the same, her former man appears on the horizon. Business woman
The image of the main character Yulia Kovalevskaya at the beginning of the story is presented by a typical business woman. The girl is purposeful, pragmatic, rational and somewhat dry, the viewer gives the impression that she is not interested in anything other than her career. She even plans to marry her work colleague Kirill (Artem Artemyev) for purely pragmatic reasons, having previously received legal advice. The heroine Ksenia Romenkova at first is not very attractive to the viewer, she makes a disastrous impression, however, in the film "Southern Nights" the actors performed the will of the director, corresponding to the scenic images. In the course of the story, the girl is significantly transformed, revealing the feminine, sensuality. The heroine turns out to be a pleasant person who cannot but be sympathetic.
At the time of the premiere of the film, actress Ksenia Romenkova was not a debutante, she has 14 film and television projects, the most famous are: “Five Brides” (2011), “Handsome” (2011), “Zhurov 2” (2010) and others. But the image of Julia has become especially significant for the performer. According to her, she had long dreamed of just such a characteristic role. The actress remembers the instructions of her teachers, who taught Romenkov that the hero must certainly change to the end of the work.

Artem Tkachenko, who played the main male role of Victor Lapin, made his film debut back in 2004, at the moment he has 55 films, mainly television series. The actor gained fame after the broadcast of the paintings "Swordsman", "Indigo", "Guy from Mars" and, of course, "Southern Nights". Actors - colleagues Tkachenko on the set noted the high professional level of the performer.
His hero received vineyards on the coast from his father by inheritance. He is in love with his job, but financial problems jeopardize business development. Being on the verge of bankruptcy, the protagonist does not give up, so with Julia who came to conclude the purchase and sale transaction, he is extremely rude, almost boorish, well, just the domestic version of Celentano from The Taming of the Shrew.

The melodrama of Valentina Vlasova is actually a film of two actors, since the entire storyline is based on the history of the relationship between the heroes Artyom Tkachenko and Ksenia Romenkova. Despite this, in the film there are bright secondary characters that perfectly complement the overall picture of the development of the plot: the main character’s friend Mikhail (actor Alexei Kolubkov), his wife Nina (actress Ekaterina Sakharova), the ex-groom of the protagonist Kirill (actor Artem Artemyev), director financial company (actor Alexei Kritsky), restaurateur (actor Evgeny Zhuravkin) and gloomy bailiffs performed by Alexander Poryvaev and Alexander Kostelov.
