This is a wonderful quality, passing over time from the life of society, characterized by simple actions. For example, when a woman descends the stairs, she should give a hand. Gallantry is also manifested in the fact that a man helps his companion put on a coat, skips forward, opening the door in front of her, and pushes the chair when she is about to sit down.
Such simple actions, which were the norm for an educated society, today can be interpreted not as politeness, but as signs of attention to a person of the opposite sex. That is why this behavior is characteristic of young people who care for a girl. So, the manifestation of gallantry in relation to married ladies can not always be correctly regarded by people around.
To act gallantly does not mean to be only polite in handling. Sometimes this quality manifests itself in relation to a woman even before the need for any action arises. For example, when meeting a gallant man, he should show his respect by saying the phrase “Glad to meet you” or “Nice to meet you.”

Although gallantry is a quality that is often used by a man to achieve certain goals, for example, to impress a woman or gain her trust, it should be used not only in certain situations, to solve assigned tasks. Family psychologists unanimously argue that good manners testify to the true respect of the spouse to his chosen one. People who have been married for a long time no longer need to impress each other with anything, much less conquer. But the manifestation of gallantry will make the relationship of the spouses stronger.
The reason that gallantry became less frequent was not only the bad manners of men, but also the desire of women to become more independent. Many representatives of the weaker sex regarded the signs of appropriate attention on the part of the gentlemen as evidence of condescension shown to weak and helpless individuals.
