One of these films, in which all the famous and beloved actors play, is called Pokrovsky Gate. This comedy was released in 1982, the director of the film Mikhail Kozakov, being a talented actor himself, successfully completed the job. The film takes place in the last century, in the fifties. Nowadays, many communal apartments were bought by wealthy people and made separate large apartments out of them. In Soviet times, there were many such small dormitories, and each, individually taken, had its own interesting life of people. Completely different personalities, by the will of circumstances, are forced to live in full view of their communal neighbors.
The plot of the film “Pokrovsky Gates” is based on the personal life of three very different men, all of them are intelligent and educated, but the passion from their love affairs flare up more than at youth parties.
In the foreground are male actors, Pokrovsky Gate for them as a symbol of something spiritual, something family ... The youngest of them is Kostya (O. Menshikov), this is a handsome guy, a graduate student who came from his province to his aunt (S. Pilyavskaya ) His charm, intelligence and artistry literally circled the girls' heads, there was no end to the fans.
The next character is Arkady Velurov (L. Bronevoy). Velor is a creative person, a master of feilletons and a connoisseur of female beauty. He is no longer young, but his soul asks for love, besides this, the master of pen and paper sometimes likes to drink a glass of vodka.
The third of this outstanding company is Lev Khobotov (A. Ravikovich). Leva is a quiet, melancholy and harmless intellectual. His wife went to another, but does not want to let go of the unfortunate Khobotov. Divorced, but not free, he meets a lady of his heart named Lyudochka (E. Koreneva). In order for the indecisive Leo's personal life to settle down, the help of friends is required. The enterprising Kostya cannot calmly look at the torment of his neighbor and takes everything into his own hands ...
Will reciprocity, in love with Svetlana (T. Dogileva) Arkady, be able to decide on a new marriage with Lyudmila, who will be disappointed in the life of Khobotov, and will the windy female saint Kostya find her only love? It all started from childhood, little Tolik, wanting to fit into the adult company of yard guys, portrayed in front of them various characters from the movies. It turned out very funny, for this he was given a smoke and treated as an equal, which Ravikovich was terribly proud of.
Over time, the courtyard scene grew into theatrical stage, where for many years the actor successfully performed. He played very little in the movie, and the roles were insignificant. But in 1981, it was time to show off on the big screen. M. Kozakov invited him to play an intellectual named Khobotov (Pokrovsky Gate), the actor happily agreed, the role was one of the main ones. Lev Khobotov was a great start for cinema for Ravikovich. After this work, they began to invite him to shoot, to achieve success at the age of 40 - this is a great happiness.
Anatoly Ravikovich was born in Leningrad on December 24, 1936. At the age of seventy-five, on April 8, 2012, a talented actor died, having played many excellent roles in his life, but almost all of them somehow resembled the image of Khobotov, the actors (Pokrovsky Gate) warmly recall this kind of jovial man.
