Why is castration of people necessary?

Castration of people is a medical operation involving anatomical or functional effects on the human reproductive organs, the purpose of which is to prevent natural fertilization.

Distinguish between partial and complete castration. Partial castration of people leads to the cessation of only one of the functions - generative or endocrine, with full castration, both of these functions cease their activity. Today, medicine practices several types of this operation.

castration of people

Human surgical castration

This type of operation is performed both in men and in women in the following cases.

  • In men, these are malignant neoplasms of the prostate and testicles, as well as their extensive trauma. After castration, a man’s body grows a hairline that spreads to his body as a female, atrophy of the prostate gland occurs, and sexual desire decreases.
  • In women, surgical castration is performed for malignant neoplasms of the ovaries, uterus, vagina, vulva and mammary glands. This is the removal of the ovaries by radiation therapy. Such an operation is performed only in those representatives of the weaker sex who have not yet reached the period of menopause, and in whom it is performed for therapeutic purposes.

Radiation castration of people is aimed at suppressing the hormonal and reproductive functions of the sex glands. It is performed both in women who irradiate the ovaries, and in men (irradiate the testes). An indication for such castration in women can be uterine cancer, as well as symptoms of uterine fibroids, which are accompanied by bleeding. They also carry out the procedure in cases where surgical intervention is impossible.

Castration of people through hormone therapy is also used if the surgical method is contraindicated. Indications: for women with uterine bleeding in late menopause or in menopause.

Chemical castration of man

This is a kind of alternative to surgical castration, but, unlike it, it does not pose a danger to the physical and mental health of a person. This type of effect on the genital organs is most often used to punish men for crimes of a sexual nature (especially against children). In this case, special medicines suppress sexual function: they inject a drug containing modified testosterone. This leads to an almost complete decrease in male seed production. As a result, male hormone is almost not produced, which, in turn, leads to a decrease in sexual function.

castration guy

Recently, in many countries, chemical castration began to be used, as already mentioned, with the aim of punishment. For example, the US state of Virginia is a rather scary measure, which is resorted to to "teach" pedophiles. Moreover, the chemical castration of a guy occurs regardless of his consent.

It is worth noting that all types of this process cause a certain set of symptoms associated with the completion of the endocrine function of the sex glands. The older the individual, the harder he is to bear them.
