Biography of Anatoly Podshivalov
Anatoly Nikolayevich Podshivalov was born on 04/20/1945 in the city of Leningrad (St. Petersburg). The guy showed interest in creativity and theatrical life from an early age. That is why, after graduation, he studied at the drama studio at the Bolshoi Drama Theater named after M. Gorky. The talent of the young Anatoly Podshivalov did not raise doubts among teachers. That is why after graduating from a theater studio in 1965 he was enrolled in the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater named after M. Gorky.
Theater work
The debut of Anatoly Podshivalov on the big stage took place when the young actor was only 16 years old. In 1961, he played in the play based on the play by A. Korneichuk “The death of the squadron” (the role of Yunga).
In 1963, he participated in the production of V. Rozova "Before dinner", where he played the role of a younger brother.

The debut of Anatoly Podshivalov in the movie took place in 1962 in the film "The Black Seagull".
The actor received real popularity and recognition of the audience after the film “Republic of ShKID” (dir. G. Poloka) was released on the screen, where Podshivalov played the role of Gypsy.

Anatoly Podshivalov played his last role in the film "In the old rhythms", which was released in 1982.
Fatal injury
While working on the next film, the actor was injured due to the fall of lighting equipment. This trauma led to the development of a brain tumor. Anatoly Podshivalov underwent a complex operation, which greatly changed him both externally and internally. He could no longer engage in creative activity. Nevertheless, he continued to go on stage to the BDT named after Gorky in the crowd.
Anatoly Podshivalov died at age 42 on 08/10/1987 in his native city of Leningrad.
