Linny Quigley was born at the end of May in the town of Davenport, Iowa, with four practicing psychologist Hiz Quigley and housewife Dorothy. By the way, May 27 is Linny’s birthday, but several decades earlier the legendary horror actors K. Lee and W. Price were born.
Unable to bear the hardships of a provincial routine, the girl moved to Los Angeles to realize herself in the acting field. Linnie Quigley made her debut in a big movie in Wheeler in 1975. But a more significant film at the top of the actress’s track record is Charles Celler’s iconic slasher, Silent Night, Deadly Night. Until 1985, the girl starred in many youth horror films: Black Room, Wild Streets, etc. But her "finest hour" is rightfully considered a horror comedy "The Return of the Living Dead" by Dan O'Bannon. In addition to filming in films, Linnie Quigley wrote two books about her becoming in the movie “I'm Screaming as Fast as I Can” and “Chainsaw”, joined a public organization supporting high moral treatment of animals, and took part in the program “Lady’s Salad” that advertises and teaches the basics of vegetarianism. In the early 90s, the actress was thinking about changing the scope of professional activity. Linnie decided to leave acting and become a police officer, but still thought better of it and continued her creative activities.
The actress was married to special effects director Steve Johnson, however, her marriage lasted only two years. After the divorce, Quigley moved to Florida, where her parents subsequently moved after retirement.
In 2012, the United States released the documentary "Screaming on Stilettos: The Rise and Fall of the Era of the Queens of the Scream" in which the authors paid special attention to the personality of Linney.
