Designing an abstract in accordance with GOST, as well as any other textual works, is an extremely important requirement of most modern secondary technical and higher educational institutions. This is not surprising. After all, bringing to a general order and unification is an important stage in organizational activity. Just imagine
how difficult it would be if there were no common standards. Is your tv broken? Of course, you go to the store for details. And there you will find out that not a single part with the same functions is suitable for you either in size or in other characteristics, because manufacturers make them whatever they like.
One and the same car brand is produced by two different plants. But each with its own special characteristics. For repairs, you will not have to go to the nearest center, but to the factory where your car was made, even if it is far and inconvenient. The situation is different with all kinds of documentation.
Registration of the abstract according to GOST is just necessary for understanding the noted fact. Well and, of course, for ease of reading your work. Agree, it would not be very convenient if each student chose the design to his taste: unreadable footnotes and references to the literature used, the table of contents and the list of references given in different places where they could not be found right away, and many other inconveniences. Conditionally, the title page (in A4 format) can be divided into four blocks:
1. At the very top, be sure to indicate the name of the institution.
2. The center of the sheet should contain the name of the work itself.
3. Details of the author of the work (student or student who completed the essay) and the teacher are indicated below the center and to the right.
4. The city of study and the year of writing the abstract should be indicated at the bottom of the sheet.
