Without farce, but with drama
The film "Spectrum" (007) is not only amazingly shot, but also has great musical accompaniment. According to the lead actor, the title soundtrack of the picture is the best in the entire tetralogy. Through the efforts of the scriptwriters, the plot does not sag and in time catches up a solemn awe in the soul of the person watching with elegant reprises or discharges the heated atmosphere with subtle British humor. For example, in one episode, Agent 007, almost seriously, interrogates a mouse that was stunned by what’s happening at the point of a gun, while in another it mechanically requires vodka with martini, despite the fact that it is in the phyto-bar of the clinic.
But "007: Spectrum" (2015) does not turn into a farce. The Oscar-winning director maintains a gloomy atmosphere bordering on despair, similar to that which reigned in Skyfall. At the same time, strangely enough, the mood of the film sometimes resembles grotesque, classic films, and not modern bondian.
Plot
The film Spectrum 007 has an intriguing plot. The protagonist, the indispensable James Bond, carrying out the task entrusted to the late M., pursues a criminal element that intends to organize a massive terrorist attack in Mexico. Unraveling the case, the agent finds out about the existence of the powerful organization "Spectrum", led by a man who allegedly died many years ago.
At the same time, in London, the newly appointed head of the Joint Intelligence Service is fighting with the new M. for the termination of the program, code-named “00”, he advocates the replacement of existing operatives with remotely controlled drones and modern tracking programs.
Unclosed gestalt
In the interweaving of the interconnected storylines of the film “007: Spectrum”, the actors involved in the filming saw the “burning of bridges” - the final stage in the development of the image of Bond. Although some adherents of the epic experienced a persistent feeling that the director had other plans for the ending of the picture, which they immediately mentioned in their reviews of the movie. Most of the film critics culminated in which James gracefully went into the sunset, called the extremely convenient ending for the transfer of the franchise to the production of another film studio. Mendes culmination is logical and beautiful, but too naive, although this is by far the best option compared to unclosed gestalt.

Watching him as a villain in Spectrum is a pleasure, and his monologue during the torture of Bond can be safely called exemplary.
