If you want to know the cost of electricity in your area, you must first understand which category of consumers you currently belong to. Based on this, you can calculate your tariff. You can clarify this information on the official website of the Ministry of Energy and Housing and Public Utilities, as well as in local management companies.

First of all, it should be noted that the cost of 1 kW of electricity is calculated depending on the locality in which you are located (city or village). As a rule, the cost of energy is much lower in the suburbs. This also applies to prices for other housing and communal services, which is why many residents of megacities go to towns and villages.

How to understand how much you need to pay for the light?

If you live in a city, you should be aware that the cost of electricity may vary depending on whether there are electrical appliances in the house for heating and cooking. Or, instead, conventional batteries and a gas stove are used. It should be remembered that all electrical appliances must be officially documented and executed in the design documentation for your home.

In addition, electricity billing can be calculated depending on what time you use it. There are single-rate rates. In this case, the price per kilowatt / hour does not change depending on the time of day. There are two-part tariffs where the price is calculated based on the time of day (day or night). In this case, using daylight is much cheaper than at night. There are even three-part tariffs, their functionality must be clarified before the application.

How much is light for other consumers?

The cost of electricity for consumers who are not related to the population is established through market trading. Prices for a certain period do not change. You can check with your authorized electricity supplier in your area.
