"State Border": plot, interesting facts about the film. Anna Baghdasaryan: creative way

The Soviet actress in her life played in only four films. And let her roles were not actually the main ones, they remained in the memory of the viewer forever. Often, her characters became very kind and truly sincere people who were ready to help others. Like the rest, the actress played her last film, as always, honestly and piercingly.

The main movie of her life

The film “State Border. At the far border ”went into Soviet hire in May 1988. And immediately won all-Union recognition. In fact, the picture was the long-awaited continuation of the military-political epic, which every second Soviet citizen followed.

Anna Baghdasaryan at the State Border

In this film, Anna Baghdasaryan played the daughter of a local resident who works closely with Soviet border guards. The young officer, who really likes a heroine named Ruzanna, does not notice her, because he has a girlfriend. Ruzanna, so naive and sincere, does not understand this or does not want to accept, and therefore she is trying in every possible way to take care of the young military man. The situation at the border is quite tense. The girl’s father is facing reprisal because of accusations of cooperation with Soviet soldiers. The militants are trying to break through, Ruzanna is in danger. Later it turns out that all this is organized by foreign intelligence services, which wish to undermine the authority of the Soviet border guard.

Film critics found a number of inaccuracies that for a long time caused a lot of questions. One of them concerned determining the place where the plot events take place. Most likely, the director’s plan was a collective image of the entire Soviet border, and not of any particular district or city. It is reliably known that most of the episodes were filmed on the Turkish border, and the involved real border connections gave this beautiful film a special touch.
