The actress was born on September 12, 1975 in Buenos Aires (Argentina). At the age of nine, she began to engage in theatrical art. Karina grew up in a poor family, therefore, after graduating from school, she worked part-time.

Karina Zampini was married to Pablo Arke, a physical education teacher. They had a son, Manuel, who is today 20 years old. After 12 years of marriage, the marriage broke up.
