Not the first year, students are interested in when they will cancel the exam in Russia? Many are opposed to a single exam, calling for a return to the traditional form of knowledge testing. When and why did they introduce the exam?
Since 2009, a single exam is recognized as mandatory. According to the Ministry of Education, this allows you to fight corruption, and also allows students from the regions to enter the capital's universities.

The initiative to abolish the exam

The initiative, in particular, is supported by the president of the RAS by the name of Sergeyev. He also believes that the scientist’s career has lost attractiveness among young people and is promoting a return to “normal graduate school”.

- an impartial assessment of knowledge is not provided.
But it was precisely for these purposes that a single exam was introduced.
An additional reason is the increase in the costs of conducting the exam.
It is not known how all these arguments will affect the current situation. Some time ago, the State Duma called for the abolition of the exam. However, an official decision has not yet been made.
Will the exam be canceled

- Russian is also among the required. Experts propose to conduct an assessment of knowledge not in writing but in oral form. It is believed that only in this way will the student be able to fully demonstrate the knowledge gained.
- Cancel tests. If before the student had several questions with answer options, now they plan to completely exclude them from the exam. Such a measure, according to experts, will allow a more accurate assessment of knowledge. Since it excludes the possibility that the student can guess the correct answer, even if he does not have the necessary knowledge on the topic.
- Retake. If the student received a low mark on the exam, he has the opportunity to make another attempt. Nobody is going to deprive students of this opportunity. The Ministry of Education says that two retests are available to the student. Provided that they will be made during the period of one academic year.

Until official information has been received, one should not ask when the exam will be canceled in Russia. It is better to spend this time more productively.
- Begin your training in advance. The more time before the upcoming exam, the higher the chances of success. If there is not 3-4 months ahead of the exam, but the entire academic year, then there will be more time and effort to prepare.
