production program is an enterprise work plan for one year, broken down into quarters, which indicates the quantity of products to be produced and the financial costs of production.

Naturally, you won’t be able to do this amount of work “in a snap” in a couple of days. Therefore, the planning of the production program begins long before the end of the current period.

- analyze the current work of the enterprise;
- based on the data from the marketing department, goals are set for the quantity, assortment, timing and other indicators that the enterprise should achieve at the end of the operational period;
